Went and saw the movie. It was boring in the beggining, and it led up to the action. Disney made the trailers and commercials offer more than they had to give. It's one of those "This isn't anything like the commercials led me to believe" movies.

The girl dies 15 minutes before the movie ends, and it turns into a cry fest in the theatre. Don't watch it in the theatre. I'd recommend DVD, Blue-Ray, or UMD for PSP. Overall, the movie was not the greatest, but it will probably win an award for making so many people cry, I give it a 6 out of 10. Anyone else have their own opinion?

Understandable. I take it you didn't like the book?

Never heard anything about this, but I checked out a synopsis and trailer and it didn't garner enough interest for me to check out. Looks like a good kids' movie though.

I'm seeing that movie this week for a school thing for Honor Roll kids. It doesn't look all that great, but I don't really wanna be stuck at school that day, so I'm just gonna go.

I saw part of a commercial for that movie and I was all like "Fuck no." immediately after it began.

All I know about this movie is what I got from seeing a couple of TV spots, which is that it looks like a poor man's Chronicles of Narnia.

It's not realy at all like Chronicals of Narnia or LOTR. It's a movie about two kids telling a story. I read the book in 6th grade and I have to admit, I cried.

Looking back... It wasn't even very well written.

Well I was joking in the sense that I was messing with you. I still didn't think it was that sad though. And if you're a woman I apologize, but you come off as a man, and men don't cry.

First of all... Pyroman, Pyro Man. Get it? I'm a guy.

Second of all, I was kind of a crybaby as a kid.

Third of all, who else read the book? I had to for school, but did anyone actualy read it in their spare time? It doesn't seem to be the kind of thing you would read willingly.

I read it in my spare time, and I didn't like it.

And you never know about these gender things. Some people are weird...

I've read the book. It wasn't as good as the movie though. If anyone actually liked it, tell me, otherwise i'm going to classify it as a kiddy movie. (Hoping Sway will let me be a movie Critic on the boards.)

Welp, saw the movie today for my school trip, and I was impressed; it was actually pretty good! When the girl died was sad, though :(. I teared up pretty bad, and several of my friends cried!

It still looks like a movie I know I'll hate. Usually when I hate a movie, I actually hope that a character dies, especially if I hate them a lot. I am such a horrible, horrible person and I'm proud of that.
