Everything in the picture had to be made out of the letter g. The house, the background, the sun, the little car thing. Everything.

And here's the final project:

I think it turned out alright. The shadows are a little hard to see when you print it out though.

Here's a desktop that I threw together on a whim:

My third project! We had to do a self portrait using Photoshop that had some part of my anatomy in it.

Both are good. I like the one of you running more.

Well yeah, that took a few class periods. The Paul Simon one took around 10 minutes.

Desktop - Clean and very modern. I like it.

Third project - Not bad, although the cutout job you did needs a little smoothing, and I cringe at the filter use.

The filter was used only because it was necessary to fulfill the requirements for the project. We needed to have a filter in there somewhere. And the cutout wasn't supposed to have anything behind it, so I didn't really cut it out to be smooth. The other window was added in later as a suggestion from my teacher.

Okay, for our final project we have to make 10 pictures that follow a common theme. The theme our class chose is "good vs. evil." Because I didn't want to worry about whether or not the images I was using are royalty free or not, I decided to do satire. I'm making satirical movie posters. I've made three so far. The first is the best, the others are worse because of time constraints.

(Remember that these are for a project, and do not necessarily mirror my political views, considering that I really don't have any.)

First one is good, but needs work.

Dude, that first one is the final. These are all finals. Believe me, they look a lot better on paper than they do on the screen.

I just saying you left the heads the way they were. Blending would have done a hell more.

That is blending. You should have seen them before. Believe me, the prints look completely natural.

The South Park one is in pretty bad taste for a school project, to be quite honest. Yeah it's a comment on how 9/11 jokes are taboo, but really, that's because the jokes have no place except as pure shock. They're all technically good, though. Just a few rough edges, but nice work on color blending.

My teacher's a total wacko, and really loves the South Park one. I'm not sure why though. I'm just trying to come up with 10 ideas. The Hillary Clinton part of that poster was completely his idea. I was just gonna make the poster a commentary on how shows like south park use tragedies like that, after a grace period, to fuel their show content.

Thanks for the compliments! They really mean a lot to me.

Huh, well, alright then. Either way it's interpreted, it's actually a pretty strong message, so if the teacher's cool with it, great.

If you need more ideas, Rep. John Doolittle is under heavy investigation for certain improprieties related to campaign contributions, and his home was recently raided by the FBI. So there's the whole Dr. Doolittle thing, talking to FBI investigators rather than animals. Might be a little obscure for most people, though.

Children of Men = gay adoption debate. There's also how some morons think 300 is an allegory for the Iraq war or war with Iran or whatever.

Those are pretty good ideas, thanks. I got a bunch more too. I just gotta work on it and see what comes out looking good.

Brushing the dust off this old topic to put up another work in progress.

This might be used as a shirt idea for my fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi. It's still considered a "work in progress" because I haven't changed the established date to 1904. I haven't yet found the exact font, so the letters are all images and the outline/white shadow behind them is done by hand, which I'm sure you can tell. Regardless the brothers think it's brilliant and don't think it needs any more adjustments aside from the date. I still want to get it right though.

Alright, so I put together a kind of basic layout for a site where I'll be hosting some of my programming projects and artworks. Here's the design:
