Only in the Ultimates universe. AND I don't like the Ultimates universe, cuz they changed all the facts around.
And it is Carnage Peter in the Ultimates.
In the cartoon and original comic serieses, it Venom suit Spidey.

What I meant was, on the cartoon, there was a Peter in a different universe who was being used by carnage and nearly destroyed all of the other usiverses. Oh, I also liked Madam Web too. I don't know why, though.

Oops, I mixed up the title with the crappy movies. Yeah, The Ultimates is quite good, Ultimate Avengers is mediocre at best.
What is it that makes a complete stranger dive into an icy river to save a solid gold baby? Maybe we'll never know.

Hey, someone started one! Now, lemme see if I can make something out of this topic...
I've finally started to get caught up with the Marvel mythos. House of M threw me for a loop (no more mutants and Magneto losing his powers fuck the what), and I'm looking forward to how its supposed to tie into Onslaught Reborn (I'm betting that ribbon of whatever orbiting earth now will have something to do with it). Currently, Civil War has me intrigued, especially with Thor making his entrance, FOR the registration, of all things. I wasn't suprised that Captain America was against it; alot of writers have been using his comics to push some anti-Bush crap in recent years, so him being anti-government doesn't suprise me. Ten bucks says he woulda been blindly following the registration thing before those comics, though. And fighting Hitler in some way...
Hate Captain America...
Anyway, mindless rambling aside, I'm curious as to what's behind all this, as something was alluded to recently. Which is good, because as neat as the concept of "superheroes fighting each other in an idealogical war" is, it just can't hold on its own that long. Or maybe I'm just getting impatient for Onslaught Reborn to kick in. Ah, but I can't help it, I love Onslaught, and with the writer of Hush writing his return, not even Rob Liefeld's shit can ruin it for me! Though it comes close...
Thank god for guest artists...
Oh, and I got all my Deadpool, Agent X, and Taskmaster stuff back! Hallelughia! And they're still fun to read a second time around!

Actually, quite a few characters are dead. None are coming to mind at the moment, though.
And I'm not an enthusiast or anything, I just like whatever I find entertaining. So, I've followed Marvel for awhile, and what I don't know, I go to Wikipedia or the Marvel Encyclopedia to refresh on. Keep me outta the dark, and all that.
It's like reading a show.
Plus, the art kicks ass most of the time.
Oh, and people, if you liked me recommendation of the Onslaught saga, then listen to me when I say to getcherself some Deadpool goodness. Be it his series, or the Cable & Deadpool series tha proceeded it. Trust me, you'd never think you could laugh that hard at a comic book. Just lookit what I'm talkin' about...

There's better, but I'm not searching 100+ comics for 'em.

Shmeck, my point to it is every character has died, and been revieved at least once, and the chara's you think are dead right now probably, have plans of revivial.
Anyway, another Marvel pun I got from a guy at Hero's&Villians (Comic/Games store):
The Marvel universes! We don't like whats happening in one, we'll just move onto the next.
AND Marvel clarified that fact. There are unlimited Marvel universes.

I really like the old cartoons for Spider Man, but the comic is really confusing because I always miss five comics beofore I see a new issue.
Also can someone explain who Toxin is I've seen him before, and people say he's carnage son, but what the hell happened to Vemon and Carnage?
