The first movie I've decided on is...
The Usual Suspects
1 hour 46 minutes / R
Directed by: Bryan Singer
Starring: Stephen Baldwin, Gabriel Byrne, Benicio Del Toro, Kevin Pollak, Kevin Spacey
When a ship containing drugs blows up while in harbor, a crippled witness named Verbal Kint (Spacey) is called in to tell what happened. Kint starts us off at the very beginning, where five criminals are hauled in for a crooked police lineup. One of them, Dean Keaton (Byrne), is a former criminal who wants to go straight. He soon turns back to crime, however, when his business chances fail due to the never ending hounding of the cops. The crime spree of the five goes well, until the assistant for the mythical figure "Keyser Soze" comes bearing a job for them. The events leading up to and after the harbor explosion will have you guessing until the very end.
In my opinion, the best aspect of this movie is having the events narrated by Verbal Kint. It really helps you understand them, much more than if one of the other characters had narrated it. The plot twists and intrigue also give the story a lot of oomph. This movie is one of the finest crime movies I have ever seen, if not the finest, and I was left trying to piece together the mystery up to the end.
This film, as far as I'm concerned, is flawless. Please watch so we can get a discussion going and don't read any spoilers!

Can't move at all!
SCREAMING!
Can't hear my call!
I'm dying to live!
CRY OUT!
I'm trapped under ice!"

If I had to choose an individual movie, I'd say that I loved Rush Hour 2.

I would also like to suggest that we keep movie sugeestions to a minimum. Actually, don't suggest any movie on this thread. PM Sway with them. I don't want this to end wup with 5000 suggestions of movies and no discussion of them.

The movie is...
Wet Hot American Summer
1 hour 37 minutes / R
Directed by: David Wain
Starring: Michael Showalter, Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon, Christopher Meloni
This is my absolute favorite comedy ever. It's a perfect spoof/homage to some of the 70s/80s comedies many of you are familiar with, while at the same time being its own story. You might recognize most of the cast from the old MTV skit show The State, though it has some stars like Garofalo and Pierce. This movie went way under the radar, but Comedy Central does show it from time to time (DO NOT WATCH THIS VERSION, CENSORING FOR TV RUINS IT).
Basically, the plot of the movie is that it's the last day of summer camp and the film focuses on certain campers/counselors who want closure to the summer. It's all really just a way to tie together the truckloads of priceless jokes and gags.
I have never laughed so hard in my life as I did watching this movie for this first time. It's just that brilliant. If you love The State, Stella, or Reno 911!, you will love this movie. I don't really know what else to say. It's the perfect comedy. Please watch.

If I could suggest another movie, people should really rent or buy Thank You For Smoking. It's freakin' hilarious.

Glad you liked WHAS, Kvitne. I enjoy it when I can get people to watch a lesser-known but really good movie. Thanks for watching, I appreciate you trying to help me out with this.
And oh yeah...

It is quite good for what it is. I don't know what else there is to say. It's just a bunch of guys hurting themselves, which is very funny.
