It'll be one of the last, if not THE last, things put up on Project AFTER during Alex's whole rebuilding thing.

Here's the cover, minus the title and anything else to go on there. It's just the image.

Doing this really made me think; I need a seperate colorist. With all these pages and other things I gotta do?! Man... I mean, I'll still go for it, but I'm also more than open to having a colorist. So if you can use Photoshop well, or you know someone who can, please contact me.

And don't even think about it, sprite comic people...

I can most certainly color very well in photoshop. All you would need to do is point out where the shading is and stuff.

I'm teaching myself to shade in a new style with a friend's lineart. (yes, all the coloring/shading in this pic is mine)
This

So don't worry too much with the shading. As long as I know where the shading is, and what colors I'm dealing with, I can do it.

Pretty bad-ass, Shmeckie, I really like it.
What is it that makes a complete stranger dive into an icy river to save a solid gold baby? Maybe we'll never know.

That is bad-ass. I really like the colors you chose, they complement his skin color very well.

Awesome stuff man. I wish I could draw like that. I probably shouldn't have given it up so long ago, although I wasn't very good.

Thanks! I figured he was dark enough, and decking him out in black, or whatever, would just overdo it with the black colors.

And thanks for the compliments, all!

Wow, that's a really awesome picture. I love the amount of detail you put into his clothes and the background, it really brings the picture to life. :D

^ What she said. A lot of artists I see these days have no idea where to allocate detail in a picture, and you get either a very detailed, realistic-looking head on top of what amounts to a two-color sheet against a background that looks like a flat wall with a landscape spray-painted on it, or something that's so hyper-detailed that it's just a mess, with lines going seemingly everywhere and usually at least fifty layers of effects filters. This pic has a excellent balance of detail, with enough attention to the smaller stuff that the overall looks has a nice richness to it, but it isn't overdone to the point where it distracts the eye from the main focal points. Plus, it is super-badass.

Nice job man!

I decided I was getting rusty lately, so I decided I would try to do a drawing a day, to stay sharp, and to keep up with my comic art studies. This one turned out really good, so I thought I'd share it.

A fantastic decision on your part. I really like those cigars. Maybe they could be used as an incendiary weapon?
