See picture here.

It's a character design for a comic project I'm working on. I'm stumped as to where to go with it from here (I know what he's gonna look like, just a case of artistic block), so I figured I'd get some C+C on what I've got so far.

I think it looks pretty awesome, Shmeckie. I'm not really sold on the floating fire crown, but otherwise it looks good. I'm not sure what kind of feedback you're looking for exactly, because I could say "Blah blah blah give him more spikes" or something and that could be not what you're going for at all, so I'll just say it's a well-done drawing and the guy looks badass.
What is it that makes a complete stranger dive into an icy river to save a solid gold baby? Maybe we'll never know.

Just general comments and criticism. It's been too long since I got some, so I figured I'd see how my drawing and designing abilites had come along.

Awesome picture! I actually like the fire crown, myself. I thought it was a really cool touch... If I were change anything, then I might move the 'flesh tube' things that currently go from the breastplate area into the pecks. They seem a little awkward as-is, like they're some kind of weird nipple-things. Maybe make 'em a little bigger or move them down and around more toward the side of the torso. Also, I might elongate the extensions coming out of the shoulders just a tiny bit.

Besides that, I really like the design. Very scary and badass... It's got some real presence to it, which is hard to convey with just a sketch. The finished product should own.

P.S. Give him ten penises.

Tentacle hentai....How fun.

All I can say is his left arm is a little warped and kind of over-exaggerated. That, and those nipple tubes...

Awesome picture, over-all though.

They're supposed to be warped. As for the tubes, the actually begin just above where nipples would be (I know because that's how I can remember where to put them). Also, I'm planning to have several of them on his body, just trying to figure out where.

Nice picture, Shmeckie :) . I'm no art critic, so I have no real criticizism for this picture.

I personally don't think you should have that many of them (more than four or five could diminish the "weird and freaky" effect, if that makes any sense). I actually kind of like them as they are, but that's just me.

You really are a talented artist, Shmeckie. You never cease to amaze me. :D

Now that I've seen it, the head looks oddly familiar somehow.

Something about the placement of the veins really irks me, especially on his left shoulder (I think it's a shoulder D: )... But for a comic drawing, this would be perfectly fine.

(PS I think you need to define his lower abdomen a bit more...there's so much detail everywhere else but below his chest, there's practically nothing there.)

Those aren't veins. They're cracks.

They seriously do look like veins. Some do look like cracks.

And how, exactly, would shading establish that?

Accually, I was about to ask that same question, had I not been distracted.
