Birthday

She laid awake in her bed as rain drops splashed against her bedroom window. The entire week was nothing but freezing rain and high winds, but that did not matter to the pink hedgehog. The room was dark and the shades were drawn. It had been a full week since she last left her apartment, but there was no reason for her to leave at the moment. Why should she leave? It was not the first time they forget. No one ever remembered her on special occasions. Not a Christmas card or gift to be seen when the season came, and it was no different for her on her birthday. No one celebrated it now and no one celebrated it when she was a little girl. It felt as if she never existed as if she was never born. No one would blame her for being jealous if another person’s birthday was being celebrated. No one would blame her being depressed and locking herself away for a few days in her apartment. No one seemed to care. If they did then they would be there right now trying to comfort her. That is what friends do for one another. But her friends never did that for her.
Everyone knew who Amy Rose was. In everyone’s eyes she was the girl that was always saved by Sonic. She was just that and nothing more, no one ever referred to her as his friend or as an acutance. But she was more than that. She was a living creature starved for true affection and true friendship. She thought she had both at one time, but she had soon come to terms that she was lying to her self. Friends would never forget you. They were always there when you need them and they would bend over backwards to see the other smile. If only this was true for Amy.
Every time she approached her “friends” they would find, from what she assumed, some kind of excuse not to be with her. It was rare for anyone of them to hang out with her. Sometimes she felt they were just doing it out of pity. She sighed as she stared at her alarm clock. It was late, very late in the afternoon to be exact. Her eyes were red and puffy from a week long marathon of crying. It was almost two since her birthday. Nothing ever changed. It was the same story from when she was a kid. No one in the orphanage or in foster care remembered her birthday. Who would ever want to celebrate the birthday of a misfit like her? All the kids were afraid of her and she would not be surprised if her so-called friends were afraid of her if they found out. All of the kids she grew up with either in foster care or in the orphanage we scarred of her special gift. They all thought it was spooky, never even considered it as being cool.
Amy Rose was both an empath and she had the ability to see the future. Most people referred to that power as premonition. She never once blamed them for being scared of her powers; she was scarred of them herself. She could feel the emotions of people around her, and anything she touched, whether it was person or thing, she knew what was going to happen. That is how she met Sonic and eventually his friends. She saw them through one of her visions. She saw how happy they were and wanted the same thing too. Then she had a vision of herself being absolutely happy with them, and for the first time she was truly happy. That premonition never came true and from the looks of it, it never will.

Two-Faced

It was the perfect plan, and even though he had said it many times before with every one of his evil schemes and creations, it truly was perfect. The moon shone brightly through his laboratory window. The tall and portly human stood over his creation in awe as he relived his life so far up to this very night. That damn blue hedgehog had ruined his plans of taking over the planet and starting his new world order for a long time now. Everytime when he went to sleep, he would have nightmares of his nemesis defeating him and ruining his plans for world domination. He would do anything to see the hedgehog suffer, even if it meant destroying the people who loved that blue rodent the most. Emotions were the key into making anyone depressed or even happy. They controlled our mentality and our health. That is how powerful they were and for the first time in a long time he knew that we would be sleeping soundly.
Eggman stood over his lastest creation or improvement in this case. He was severely sleeped depreved and exhausted. After a week long marathon, he was finally done. He clothes were dirty and filled with the scent of foul smelling fuel as well as sight of sweat on certain parts of his body. Normally when one of his creations failed him he would go out and create newer and better series or used the information from failed creations to improve the next generation. He closed his eyes for a moment to trying to remember the very first time he had created a so-called copy of his enemy. for a brief moment it brought a smile to his face, but then brought his facial movements to that of pure hate. He ran his hand on the dopleganger, almost caressing it like a child of his very own. Then again he considered all his metal creations as family.
He was indeed impressed on increadible lifelike he made it this time. He just hope that it could pass off as the real thing. He had personally seen that to as well as adding in a few fail safes just incase. His past copies were more robtic in style and would never have fooled anyone. It was only a week ago that he remembered how when Shadow made his worldwide debut into the civilian world that everyone had taken him for Sonic. That one mistake by the world community fueled his creativity again.

Both, actually. I thought that you were going to combine those 2 somehow. I like both of them.

well they are indeed separate stories I'm thinking about...

Birthday: My wish is always the same. I want to have friends. I want to be loved. I am always alone and no body seems to care.

Two-Faced:We always assume we know the people we care about. We never expect that a hero can ever become evil and hurt the ones they love.

another one Istarted to think about while working my shift in the library.

The Bonds that Binds Us

Spring had come early to Station Square this year. Compared to the harsh and cold winter that they had this was truly a warm and welcoming change. Change has always been both a good thing and a bad thing for people, but that is what makes change so much fun. You just never know what to expect. It seemed that everyone was being blessed with good tidings this year, everyone except for Amy.As she wondered throughout the forest she began to reflect about the previous season and how at one point everthing was promising.
It was a few days before Christmas that she had learned that Sonic was seeing someone very special for quite sometime. From what she found out on that day was that it was another female hedgehog that Sonic had saved when Eggman had shamelessly attack the local downtown hospital. Amy was heartbroken. She was devestated, because Sonic himself had told her while they stood underneath the misletoe at a Christmas party. Everyone else knew about her long before Sonic has mentioned it to her, but they had all made a vow to Sonic not to mention it to Amy until he was ready to tell her himself. All through the party and now in public Amy kept a facade up that she was happy for Sonic, that she could not think of anyone better for him. But of course that was a total lie. She had loved him long before the entire world saw him as hero, but as a bothersome vigilante who took the law into his own hands. How she loved to see him happy even if it meant that she had no right to be in that equation. This feeling of pain and anguish was eating her up inside. She wanted to tell someone, but what good would that do for her. They all knew about Sonic's girlfriend and let her make a complete fool of herself by allowing her to continue wearing her feelings on her selve till that day at the party. For all she knew at this point is that she was as Sonic had called her a "nuisance". She caused so many problems for him by being kidnapped and being dead weight. How could she compare to anyone like Aeris. She was a doctor, she could help heal the sick and make their pain go away. She was useful on missions and did what Sonic said without any questions. She was indeed beautiful and dependable, everything Amy was not. There weremany things she wanted to say to Sonic, but she knew she could not bring herself to do so. She was afraid of Sonic yelling at her, saying that she was nothing more than jealous and that she was nothing more than a stalker. It was true she was jealous, but who wouldn't be if the one guy you have loved and longed for broke your heart. Amy coughed a bit as small amounts of blood splashed against her gloves. Amy stared at her gloved hand and assumed that it was nothing more than a symptom of the cold that was supposely going around the city. Sonic had made all of his friends get vaccinated on the first day of the new year, it took him longer to perrsuade Amy to get one. He knew she was deathly terrified of needles, so of course it took him longer to get her vaccinated. By that time it was just yesterday that she had finally caved in and allowed herself to get vaccinated. She remembered how happy Sonic was that she finally agreed. He cared about his friends and would do anything to see them well. He thought it would be best if Aeris had preformed the injection, instead of some unfamilar nurse at the hospital. Plus it would also give them time to get to know each other. All Amy could remember was an uncomfortable and unwanted feeling being there. She was certain that if she had told Sonic he would had yelled at her. Calling her crazy and wanting her out of his life, and from the ways things were she would not be surprised.

that's the entire point...I write my stories like that in order for the reader to feel for the character as if they were real...you should look at the story that I am currently working on http://www.sonic-onl...p?showtopic=492

Once that monster is finished, then I'll work on those fics...
