The article was a completely separate matter. Everyone got their jobs because I and the rest of the staff felt they were fine leaders in the forums who people respected and who I thought could do the job well. Except for Sel, that guy was just plain lucky.
What is it that makes a complete stranger dive into an icy river to save a solid gold baby? Maybe we'll never know.
