Seriously though, that GameBoy is retardedly small. Why the hell would you make something that tiny? People with large hands won't even be able to use the damn thing, and it's gonna get lost way too easily... How is this thing practical in any way?

I think what it is that nintendo is following the age group for gameboy and they know how kids love to play their gameboy. Nintendo also made it small so the kids that bring it to school can easily hide it. However, i hate the size of the gameboy i agree with master, it is to damn small.

I was amazlingly actually watching G4 (I was that bored) and I turned it on when the E3 wrap up was on, I taped the Nintendo portion and they had an interview with Reggie about the GBA Micro. He says it aimed at 11-14 year olds to pull out when they are bored. One of the G4 guys said he did not die from reading text on the screen (though they didn't have GB/GBC games without resizing it there) and Adam Sessler says the buttons are space out enough where you don't have your fingers cramped.
The only complaint was if people would really buy a 3rd gameboy. Hopefully NOA would be smart and release the Play-yan simultaneously, the biggest complaint about the Play-yan (by IGN) wasw that no system was perfect for it. It didn't have a remote, so you'd have to open up your DS or GBA SP to change tracks. The regular GBA does not run the videos very well either, also you must turn off your game console to put more music on, which is a hassle with the DS. Oops, talkled to much about Play-Yan...

I knew the the gameboy was aiming for little kids all along. The gameboy is so small it is pretty patheic when you have big hands you tend to screw up.

I don't think the the the new gameboy is going to be worth to buy. What i think it's going to suck, and will lose the handheld market to sony, The PSP. So don't waste your money on a damn to small portable player, especially if you had big hands.

A tiny Gameboy and the PSP are not even close to direct competition for one another. That's like saying the redesigned Genesis version 3 was competition for the PlayStation.

Um, GBA has already sold more than PS2 has. So you think 23 million people will buy a PSP for $250? Besides, Gameboy's great sales is because some people own more than one, many families have one per person, so people are more than happy to buy a few. A lot of my cousins actually have one too. And the people on G4 said that you won't hurt your hands from playing it, because the buttons are close, but spaced out enough so you don't hurt your hands, and they usually hate Nintendo.

Well, what they do, is they make the Game Boy that size, then shrink it down. That's how watches are made, too.

I played it pretty comfortably up at best buy not too long ago. It fits into your fingers well and removes the grip problem I have with regular hand helds. Especially since it is kind of rounded off. The screen could have been a tad bit bigger though.
