About 8 years ago when I got into Roleplaying, I created a dozen of FanFics. They all mostly sucked because of my grammar and understanding on the English language was far from as good as it is today. So, excuse the lack of character view and repeatedness. If I had time, I would rewrite all of these stories... Kind of ashamed reading over these old things that, surprisingly, are still uploaded online on Tripod.com... Here's the first....

Untold Tales


I was sitting in my hut messing with some gears and scrap metal parts I found in
Rotor’s shop. I heard thunder and looked out my window. Dark clouds covered the sky.
Lightning struck the ground in flashes of light. The wind picked up. The funny thing was,
there was no rain. The air didn’t feel damp, or moist like it usually does when a storm
comes in.
I opened up my door and looked out. People were standing around staring at something.
I walked out and stood next to Sonic and Aunt Sally. “What’s going on?” I asked them.
“That’s what’s up.” Sonic said pointing to a strange cloud.
It swirled in a circle and bright lights flashed. A strange multicolored circle appeared.
“What’s that thing?” I asked.
“It’s a gateway!” Sally said.
“Yeah, but to where?” asked Sonic.
Sally shrugged. I tugged on Aunt sally’s blue vest. “What’s a gateway?” I asked her.
Aunt sally smiled at me and knelt down. “A gateway, Tails, is like a door to a different
place. Like walking from one room to another.”
“Oh.” I said, still not completely understanding.
“So when do we get to go see this new room?” I asked her.
Sonic smirked. “It doesn’t take us to another room, little bro. It takes us to a whole
different world!” he said.
“A different world?” I asked.
“Cool! Can we go!?”
“I don’t see why not!” Sonic said laughing.
Sally glared at him. “Tails isn’t going anywhere with you.” she said.
“Huh? Why not?” Sonic asked.
“Sonic, he’s just a kid. He’s only 6 years old!” Sally said.
“So? We were kickin’ Robotnik’s butt when we where that age!” said Sonic.
“It doesn’t matter! He’s staying here with me!” Sally said.
“All right, all right! you win! Hey, Tails, go get my backpack and a Power Ring for me,
will yas?” Sonic asked me.
I ran off to Sonic’s hut and grabbed his backpack. I flew back and handed it to him. He
sat it down by a tree. “So are you coming with me?” Sonic asked Sally.
I looked over to the backpack and smiled. I opened it up and jumped in.
“No, sorry Sonic. Your on your own this time.” Sally said.
Sonic walked over to the backpack and lifted it up. “Well, I guess I’m off now! See you
all later!” Sonic said and jumped into the gateway.
Sally turned around. “OK, Tails, let’s go and......Tails? Tails, where are you?” she said
looking around.

Sonic jumped out of the gateway and was now on the other side of it. He looked around.
“Wow! Big place!” he said as he stood there floating in the air.
I popped my head out of the backpack. “Wow! Where are we?” I asked.
“Huh!? Tails! What are you doing here?” he asked.
“I wanted to come too!” I said.
He laughed and gave me a nuggie. “Why you little rascal! No wonder my backpack was
so heavy!”
I jumped out of the backpack and looked around. “Wow! Is this the new room?” I asked
him.
Sonic laughed. “No, Tails. This isn’t a room. Were on another world.” he said.
“Cool! So what do we do now?” I asked.
“I don’t know.” he said.
“There doesn’t seem to be anything here. Just empty space.”
“Ah, but you are wrong, blue one!” a strange voice said.
We looked behind us and a strange old man with a long gray beard stood in front of us.
“Who are you?” Sonic asked.
“My name is of no importance. You have come for the Emerald, right?” he asked.
“Emerald? What do you mean?” asked Sonic.
“Ah! The Emerald is one of many that keeps worlds together. With out them, the
universe would fall apart and you have come to rescue the Emerald and take it to it’s
home, right?” he asked again.
we stood there silently. Not saying a word. We looked at each other and I shrugged.
“Follow me!” the old man said.
Sonic looked at me again looking for an answer to all this, but I didn’t have one. We
followed the man for a while. He stopped and pointed to the sky. Sonic and I looked up
and the old man raised his hands and lightning shot out from them. There was a bright
flash and in the sky a green emerald floated down to us. “Whoa! Get a load of that
baby!” Sonic said smiling.
The old man gave Sonic the emerald and he looked at it. “Great! Another emerald to
help us!” said Sonic.
After I was kidnapped by Grounder and Scratch a couple of weeks ago, Robotnik took an
emerald away from us and we’ve been trying to stop him from getting more. “Take the
emerald, but beware the danger of using it with 6 other ones and the mystical Gold Rings.
They can cause great happiness, or great distruction!!” the old man said.
The old man took out 2 silver rings. “If you are ever in danger with the emerald, use these
to contain its power!”
I took the rings and put them into Sonic’s backpack. “Wow! Thanks man!” Sonic said as
we walked to a gateway that the old man had opened.
“Just remember my warnings!!” the man said as we ran through the gateway.
We returned back in the Great Forest. “That was way past cool!” I said.
Sonic smiled. “Great happiness, or great destruction...” Sonic said repeating the old
man’s words.
Sonic’s eyes lit up. “Hey! What if I use the Emerald now and we could take down
Robotnik ourselves!” cried Sonic and but his backpack down.
“I don’t know, Sonic. I don’t think Aunt Sally would like that.” I said.
“Aww! Forget Sal!” Sonic said, taking out 6 other Emeralds he had in his backpack.
“Hey! Where did you get those?” I asked him.
Sonic said nothing. He took out 50 Rings and threw them up into the air with the
Emeralds. The Emeralds began to glow and they flew around Sonic. The made a gold
shield-like thing around Sonic that faded into him. Sonic’s fur turned gold and his quills
on his back turned upwards. I stood back and stared at him. “Whoa! Check this out!
I’m Super Sonic!” Sonic said as he floated into the air.
“Umm...Sonic...Are you sure this is good?” I asked him.
He glared at me. “Stop being such a worry fox!! Everything’s cool!” he said.
I said nothing. He floated towards me. “You don’t trust me, do you?” he said.
“We now have the power to take down Robotnik!! What’s so bad about that?”
“You mean you have the power.” I said.
He grabbed me by the neck. “S...Sonic...You’re hurting me!” I cried out.
“Yes! I do have the power! I can feel it moving through me!” he said, gripping
tighter.
My eyes started to water and things went blurry a little. “And if you don’t like it, I
guess you don’t have to live to see me make things right in this world!” Sonic said
grinning.
I gasped for air. Why is Sonic doing this to me? Why is he trying to kill me? I kicked
him in the stomach, but it didn’t seem to have an effect on him. He laughed. “Sonic!
Please! Don’t do this!” I said choking.
Sonic loosened his grip a little and then let go. “I’m sorry, Tails. I didn’t mean it!” he
said.
I ran to a tree and hid behind it. “Hey!! Don’t run!!” he said.
I remembered the old man’s warning. To use the Silver Rings to contain the Emerald’s
power. I grabbed Sonic’s backpack and took out the 2 Silver Rings. “Tails! Come on,
little buddy! I promise you I won’t hurt you!” Sonic said, coming towards me.
“No!! Stay back!!” I yelled.
“Aww! Come on, Tails! Nothing’s going to happen!” said Sonic.
I heard him snicker. I jumped out from behind the tree with the Rings behind my back.
“Ah! There you are! Now come here!” Sonic said getting closer to me.
“NO!!” I yelled and held out the Silver Rings.
Sonic backed away quickly and grabbed his sides in pain. “Ahhh!! The pain! Make it
stop!” he shouted.
I didn’t want to hurt him, but I knew I had to do this to save me and Sonic from killing us
both. I stepped closer to him and held on tight to the rings. Sonic kept moving away.
“Tails! Stop it!! Please!!” Sonic pleaded.
Sonic floated into the air, but he fell back to the ground. I got even closer to him and held
the rings over him. Sonic cried out in such pain, it sounded like he was being slowly
killed. Then his color started to return to blue. His quills returned to their original look
and Sonic laid there motionless. There was a flash of lightning and the Emeralds flew out
of Sonic and onto the ground.
I picked up the Emeralds and put them back into Sonic’s backpack. I looked at Sonic.
He looked like he was in a war and was very weak. I put the Silver Rings around my left
arm. I flew to Knothole and got Aunt Sally and Rotor. Sally wasn’t happy that I snuck
away with Sonic. Luckily we got Sonic back to Knothole and he recovered. I kept the
Silver Rings around my arm and I still wear them to this day.

It was a sunny day in Knothole. I had just turned 9 and my friends had a cool
surprise party for me! I got lots of presents and I was out in the forest playing with a
baseball and was throwing it up and catching it. I looked behind me to a path that led to
Robotropolis. The personal property of Dr. Robotnik. Sonic and I have tried to make
sure that Robotnik hasn’t gotten hold of all 14 Chaos Emeralds.
It’s been hard, but we’ve done pretty good so far. I looked down to the path of Knothole
and saw a blue blur head towards my direction. It was Sonic. I waved to him as he ran
by, but he didn’t pay any attention to me. “No where’s he off to?” I asked myself.
I curled up my tails and flew after him. I followed him into Robotropolis and I tried my
best to stay out of his sight. He went directly for Robotnik’s headquarters and he ran past
2 SwatBots that were guarding the doorway into Robotnik’s lair. They saw him, but
didn’t do anything to stop him. “That’s odd...” I said.
I flew to the top of the building and found a way in through an air went. I crawled in and
looked into Robotnik’s room and there stood Sonic tapping his foot looking right at
Robotnik. “Ah, Sonic! How nice to see you! So have you made your mind up of our
deal? I save your miserable life and 4 of your friends in trade for 5 of the Chaos Emeralds
and the location of Knothole?” Robotnik said grinning.
What!? I couldn’t believe it! Sonic made a deal with Robotnik? I was upset. I pounded
my fist into the vent and it made a loud clang. “What was that?” Snively jumped.
Snively stood next to Robotnik and had heard me. “It was probably just the rats.” Sonic
said.
“Robotnik glared at him. “Are you sure you came alone?” Robotnik asked him.
“Yeah! Why? You don’t trust me?” Sonic said.
Robotnik eyed him. “So do we have a deal?” he said lending his hand out to Sonic.
Sonic thought for a moment. “Yeah! Just as long as you keep your promise!” Sonic said
taking Robotnik’s hand and shaking it.
Robotnik smiled. “Good! Now, where are the Emeralds?” Robotnik asked Sonic.
Sonic reached into his backpack and pulled out 5 Chaos Emeralds and a map to Knothole.
“Right here!” he said.
My mouth fell open. I rubbed my eyes hoping this was all a bad dream. “This ain’t
happening...this ain’t happening...” I said.
Robotnik took the Emeralds. “Good! Now get out of here before I change my mind!”
Robotnik said yelling at Sonic.
Sonic took off. Robotnik laughed to himself. “Snively!” Robotnik bellowed.
“Yes, Sir?” Snively replied standing in attention.
“Take the Emeralds and ready the Death Egg! We attack tonight!” Robotnik said,
handing the Emeralds to Snively.
Snively smiled and took off. I ran to Knothole almost in tears. Sonic was a traitor.

Moonlight
------------------------

I walked along the streets of Echidnopolis. It was about 11:00 at night. Street
lights were on and they lit the somewhat dark streets. There was no wind and it was
about seventy-five degrees out. I had my backpack with me, which had my Power Stones
and gems in it. I took a right and walked down 25th street. Bright neon signs shined in
the darkness of the night. Loud music could be heard for almost five miles away.
I stopped in front of a building. I looked up at it's flashing lights that outlined a large sign.
It read: The Go-Go Club. It was one of the most popular hangouts for all residents of
Echidnopolis. Even though I was not an Echidna and didn't live in Echidnopolis, I was
still welcome by my friends. I opened a large door and the music escaped outside for a
breaf moment.
All around me, people were dancing to the beat. Many stood by the walls talking to
others. I looked around. In the corner of the club was a big table. Sitting at it were some
of my close friends. The Choatix Team, Amy, and Selena. I walked over and noticed that
Knuckles and Julie-Su were missing.
I took a seat next to Charmy. Charmy sat on the table. He couldn't really sit, so he
always stood there. He didn't mind it. He said it gave him a better view of everybody. A
purple, female Echidna walked over. She was wearing an apron and placed a glass of
water in front of me. "Is there anything I can get ya?" she asked.
I shook my head. "No thanks," I said.
She smiled and walked off. A basket of cheese sticks sat in the middle of the table. Vector
and Espio grabbed a few and popped them into their mouths. "Any sign from Blade?"
Mighty asked.
"No. No one's seen him. I've even traveled back to the other worlds that he's usually
causing trouble in and there's no sign of him. Even Soenic's missing," I said.
"You think he's up ot something?" Selena asked.
"Yeah. Even Soanic's been looking. There's no way he could have just come back from
the dead. I saw him fly through that wall and down five stories! And it was in this
world!"
"Don't worry. He souldn't be hiding for much longer. The bad guys always show up
again," Mighty said.
I looked over at Amy. "Where's Knuckles and Julie-Su?" I asked her.
She smiled and giggled a little. "The two love birds decided to take a walk on the beach!"
she said.
Vector smirked. "I still don't really trust her. I mean, she did work for the Dark Legion,"
he said.
"Yeah, but she's also helped us out when we needed help," Mighty said.
"Julie's the best thing that ever happened to Knux! Don't be so mean!" Amy cried.
Selena brushed back her dark red hair. "Amy's right. The two of them are in love. leave
'em alone," she said.
"And just what do you know about love, Selena!?" Vector asked.
"A lot more than you think! Before I was trapped in Limbo, I myself was in love! I had a
wonderful life, until I was accused of breaking the elder's laws of my world! So don't say
that I don't know what love is!!" Selena yelled.
A tear ran down Selena's eye. Amy scutted closer to comfort her. I raised an eyebrow. I
never knew any of this. Selena rarely tells about her past. Most of it's still a mystery to us
all. I sat back in my chair. Vector had shut-up and I guess he felt cut down.
Espio finally spoke up, "Look, let's just forget about this for now. The two of them are
off on their own. They can take care of themselves,"
Mighty waved his paw and a waitress walked over. "Get us a large pizza with pepperoni,
please," he said.
The waitress wrote down the order, nodded and walked back away. Charmy zipped off
the table and around to my backpack. He opened it up and jumped in. "Hey!! What do
you think you're doing?" I asked.
He came back out with a yellow Power Gem. "My, my, my! Look what we've got here!
I believe it's a Power Gem!" Charmy said snickering.
Mighty raised an eyebrow. "Hiding treasures on us, Tails?" he asked.
"Oh, come on, guys! You know I always have some kind of gem with me. If you look
hard enough, Charmy, there's a few diamonds in there. Espio grabbed the yellow gem
from Charmy. "You know, this would make a great present for Knuckles to give to
Julie-Su..." he said.
"Don't be rediculis, man! That's not what Knuckles would do!" Vector said.
"Oh, shut-up, Vector!! I think it's a great idea! Girls love gifts!!" Amy cried.
I grabbed the gem from Espio. "Well she's not getting this one!" I said.
I took out two diamonds. "She can have these though," I said.
Amy grabbed them. "I'll make sure Knuckles gets these. Ooh! I can't wait to see Julie's
reaction!" she said.
"I'm giving up my stuff for Knuckles?" I asked myself outloud.
"Oh, come on, Tails! Be nice! You can always go looking for more. It's not like they're
the last diamonds on Mobius!" Selena said.
I smirked. "All right... Knux can have 'em,"
The waitress can over with a hot pizza and placed it in the middle of us. "All right,
everyone! Dig in!!" Espio yelled and grabbed for the first slice.



On the beach of Echidnopolis....

Waves splashed against the hot sands. Seagulls flew above in circles as two figures
walked hand in hand. Julie looked over to Knuckles and sighed. For so long she had
dreamed of this moment and it had finally come true. The two had finally shown their
feelings that they had for each other. Knuckles was just glad that someone was their for
him through hard times. Such as the one he's going through with his mother, Lara-Le and
Wyn.
Wyn proposed Lara and she had accepted. The two were to be married any time soon.
Knuckles didn't quite know what to do. Everything just seemed to be turning into another
giant puzzle that was impossible to solve. That's where Julie thought she comes in.
They've been through a lot together and thought she could help out once more.
Sure the Choatix Team was there for Knux, but they couldn't understand as must as she
does. Julie rested her head on Knuckles' shoulders and sighed once more. Knuckles put
his arm around her and looked into her eyes. The two stopped and faced each other. The
moonlight shown the only light around. With the sound of the waves lightely crashing,
Knuckles took the advantage of this moment and the two got closer, then engaged into a
deep, long kiss.

A female Lioness sat in a chair in a dark room at a desk. She was dressed in black leather and a trench coat. A voice came over the phone she was on. "OK, operator... The job is done here,"

"Good. The next target is only a few blocks from you. You need to get to him before they do," a voice said from another end.

There were a few clicking noises and the lioness looked around her. "Did you hear that...?" she asked.

"Hear what?"

"Nevermind... You sure this line is secure?"

"Yes. I’m sure."

The outside of the building the lioness was in was being secretly surrounded by cop cars. Each had they’re sirens off as they closed around the building. The Chief of Police, Chief Axer, stood outside and motioned for a group to go in. "And remember! I want her dead!" He yelled after them.

Just then, a van pulled up and two men dressed in black suits and dark shades jumped out. Axer grumbled as he saw the two approach him. "You do know what you’re doing, right?" one of them asked, who seemed to be the leader.

"Oh, please! Don’t try to give me my rights and what I can and cannot do!"

The other one in the tux tapped his leader on the shoulder and motioned to the back. The leader nodded and he took off. Axer continued, "I already sent in some men. They should have her by now,"

The man smirked. "Sire, your men are already dead," he said gravely.

"Look... I got no more time to talk! I want-"

The girl was cut-off, as the door slammed open. "FREEZE!" Yelled one of them.

"Put your paws in the air where we can see ‘em and stand up slowly!"

The lioness threw her hands into the air and did as she was told. One of them walked up and grabbed her shoulders. She suddenly grabbed his hand in return and flipped in over onto the desk with a sickening crunch. Another ran you behind her and threw a punch. She grabbed his arms and held him in front of her as another fired his gun at her, but hit the officer instead. She quickly took the gun from the dead cop in her arms and fired at the remaining two. She grabbed the phone back up. "You jackass! You said this line was clean!" she yelled.

"Sorry! Look, you better get out now! But be careful!"

"Why? Are there any agents?" she asked looking out the doorway to her left and spotted Weegee with a group of more cops following.

"Shit!" she mumbled, and ran to her right out to the fire escape.

She looked over the railings and down below stood Blade, a grin played on his dark face. "I need another way out! Where’s the nearest exit!?"

"There’s an old pay phone just two blocks from you at the corner of 5th and Main!"

She nodded and grabbed the ladder that was next to her and climbed up the roof. Weegee and the officers followed close behind. She dashed over the rooftops and jumped over to another building. The others still pursued her. The cops raised their guns into the air at her and threatened to shoot if she didn’t stop. The girl kept going and leaped into the air and landed, rolling herself into a ball as she hit the ground. Weegee growled and leaped as well. The cops stopped dead in their tracks near the edge of the building. "There’s no way in hell he could make that!" One said.

The offer was wrong as Weegee landed on his feet with a loud crunch as the concrete under him cracked from his landing. He got up and ran after the lioness again, but was too far behind as she jumped off the roof. Weegee ran to the edge and watched her land on the street and dart off. He put his finger up to a receiver in his ear. "Blade, she’s heading your way!" he said.

The lioness raced as fast as she could towards the pay phone. She looked behind her as a pair of headlights flashed on her. A giant dump truck was hot on her tail and was gaining on her. She quickly got into the booth and picked up the phone as the truck rammed into it. The lioness held her hands up to the glass as a final defense as the booth was crushed by the truck and pushed back into the wall of the building and the side fell in. Blade opened the door of the dump truck and jumped out. He took off his shades and smiled triumphantly. The fox slowly walked up to the rubble and looked around. "The hell!? Where is she!?" He yelled as he dug through the pile of bricks and broken glass.

A low growl escaped his throat as he picked up his own communication device in his ear and sighed. "Weegee… She got away…"

Weegee’s voice soon responded in a calm way, unexpected by Blade. "It doesn’t matter now. We got their next target. Meet me back at the headquarters and we’ll make preparations," He said, and was gone.

In a dark one room apartment, a black furred hedgehog sat asleep at his desk. His four computers sat in front of him, online and ready. One in particular was blinking a space. Strange words soon appeared in its place. "Wake up. Wake up, Soanic." It read.

Soanic stirred in his sleep and his eyes half opened, noticing the typing on his computer. "What the-? I never typed that…" He said to himself.

The computer soon responded. "It’s me. Les. The time has come."

"What? What time…?" Soanic asked.

"Just follow the white rabbit."

"White rabbit…?" Soanic mumbled.

"Knock, Knock." The computer said.

There was a sudden rapping at his door and Soanic turned to look at it. "Who is it?" He asked.

"It’s Jazz, dude!" A voice called from outside.

"Oh… One sec…" Soanic said and looked back at his screen, which was blank again.

He scratched his head and went to the door and opened it slightly to look out. Jazz stood there with his groupies and had his girlfriend held tightly to his side. "Do you have it?" Jazz asked.

"The disk? Yeah, I got it. You got the money?" Soanic asked back.

"Yeah. Here." Jazz handed him a couple of hundred dollar bills and Soanic walked to a shelf and grabbed a book.

He opened it to reveal that the book had been cut out. He took the disk that was inside and replaced it with the dollar bills. Soanic walked back and handed him the disk. "Now remember. If you get caught-"

"Yeah, Yeah. You don’t exist." Jazz smirked, cutting him off.

"Look, the gang and I are going to the club. You wanna come?"

"I don’t know… I got a lot of work here…"

Jazz smirked and looked to his girl. "You think you can talk him into going? Maybe the two of you can work something out?"

The girl smiled at Soanic and looked him over. "I think we can." She said.

"No, no… I really shouldn’t…"

She pouted at him and cuddled Jazz’s side. Soanic shook his head and then tilted it noticing a tattoo on the girl’s back shoulder. The message that was on his computer flashed into his mind. "You know, I think I will go!" He said.

Jazz grinned. "All right! Meet us there tonight at 10!" He said, and left with the others.

The club was flashing with lights and colors as Soanic stepped in. Everywhere he looked; people were dancing, laughing, or seeming to have a good time. He took a spot to himself next to a wall and leaned against it. Jazz was out with his group and offered Soanic a drink every now and then, but he refused just about every time. A little later, a female lioness dressed in black leather clothing stepped up next to him. "Soanic, I presume?" She asked.

Soanic arched a brow at her and nodded. "How did you know?"

"We know lots, but there is little time to explain it all now. He has been searching for you. You want to know the answer to your questions, right?

"My question to what?"

"You know what I mean. He will contact you tomorrow afternoon."

"Wait… Are you… Les?"

She nodded. "The one and only."

"But I always thought you were a guy?"

"All men think that." She smiled and stepped back. "Remember. Tomorrow!"

With that, she disappeared into a crowd of dancing couples.

Soanic’s boss slammed down his personal records on the desk in front of him. "Once again, Mr. Hedgehog, you are late. This cannot go on. It’s bad business." He said.

"I know, sir…" Soanic mumbled.

"Look, if you’re having a problem, the company has a problem. You’re one of the best software designers here at SoftTech, but if you’re not at your desk ON TIME, you will have to choose between your bed and this company!"

Soanic sighed and nodded. "Yes, sir…"

"Dismissed, Mr. Hedgehog…" The man said and turned around in his seat to face the big window looking out at the city.

Soanic walked out grumbling and swearing under his breath as he reached his little office. He looked at his watch. It was going on 2:00 p.m. Just then, a FedEx. Deliveryman rapped on his office walls and handed him a package. "Mr. Hedgehog? Sign here, please." The man pointed with the tip of a pen on a clipboard.

Soanic took the pen and signed the sheet. The FedEx guy tipped his hat and walked off. Soanic flipped the package in his paws and ripped the side open. A small cellular phone fell out into his paw. He jumped as it rung. After the second ring he answered it. "H-hello?"

"Ah! Soanic! So good to finally hear your voice! You know who this is, don’t you?"

Soanic thought for a second and nodded. "The great Fallout, am I right?"

"I’m so glad you know! We don’t have much time, as Les has told you. We both know that ever since you entered this world, you’ve realized that you were… Different. Am I right?"

"Yes."

"You’ve been searching for more in life. You’ve stumbled across what we call the Furtrix and have looked high and low for what it might be. We all have. You may have been searching for two years for the Furtrix, but Soanic, I’ve been searching all my life for you!"

"Why me?"

"I’ll explain it all, but right now you need to get out of there!"

"Why? Why can’t you tell me what the Furtrix is now!?"

"Soanic, you don’t seem to understand. Right now, you are being hunted."

"By who?"

"Look over your office to the door and see for yourself, but stay low!"

Soanic peeked over the top of his walls and spotted a group of cops and two men in black suits. Soanic quickly ducked back down. "How do I get out!?" He asked.

"There’s an elevator that will bring you up to the top of the roof in your bosses office. He’s not there at the moment, so it’s all clear. Now listen closely. Get under the desk now and stay as quiet as you can!"

Soanic jumped down under the desk as two cops stepped into his corner. "He’s not here, Weegee…" One of them said.

"Then spread out and find him! I want him found!" Weegee called from the other side of the room.

"Now what?" Soanic asked crawling out from under his hiding place.

"The office next to you is empty. You can hop over there and then race to the office. But stay as low to the ground as you can! Go!!" Fallout yelled from the other end of the phone.

Soanic scampered out and raced down the path to the main office and closed the door behind him. "Good. Now open the window and get on the elevator," Fallout said.

Soanic slid open the window and hopped out on the edge of the building, hugging close to the side. He gulped looking down. "There’s no way in hell I can do this!" He said.

"You’re only choice out of this building alive is that elevator, or in the custody of the cops, Soanic. Don’t worry. Everything will be fine. I’ll make sure someone is there at the top to meet you. Good luck." With that, Fallout hung up and Soanic was alone.

"Well, I might as well try…"

Soanic took one step to his right and slipped. He quickly grabbed the wall again and the phone slipped out of his paws. He tried to make a grab, but missed and the phone fell to the street below with a crunch. "HOLT!" Someone called from inside.

The cops had found him and had the exit blocked. Weegee stepped in with a grin wide on his face. Soanic took on last look at the elevator and then sighed. He soon found himself handcuffed and let to a car outside the building. Les watched him crawl into the car and growled. "Shit! Fallout’s not going to like this…" She mumbled and rode off on her black motorcycle.
