[Sway]

Nominate something someone said on these very forums for quote of the month! At the end of the month (two days, I know), we shall turn this thread into a poll. After three days, the votes shall be tallied and a winner declared. If you like this idea, we could do it every month starting on the 15th.

Rules:
1) Quotes must be from the first day of this month up until the last day of this month (Monday).
2) Quotes must be from a forum member.
3) You can't nominate your own quote.
4) You can second/third/etc. quotes if you so wish, and this is in fact encouraged.
5) Two nominations max per person. Seconding a quote counts as one.
6) Please provide a link to the post(s) of your quotes.
7) A maximum of six quotes will be chosen. In the event of a tie, the staff shall pick the final six.
8) Selatein is a butthead.
9) No quotes from this forum (Games and jokes). Reason being everyone is trying to be funny there, rather than cracking a joke or something in the context of a discussion.

Edit: And I might as well nominate a quote I recently came across. I don't think it was purposefully supposed to be funny, but it made me laugh.

Alright, I picked what I thought were the top six quotes nominated (out of eight), and now is the time to vote. Invader Tails' quote was so long I just linked his name, click it to see the post in context.

Voting ends in five days, when a winner is declared! The winner wins nothing whatsoever, however, except the distinguished honor of having the best quote in a given month on a message board regularly used by a maximum of 20 individuals. (In other words, bragging about this would get you beat up at school.)

Well, it looks like we have two winners. Since Flame is not here to accept any awards, I declare Invader Tails to be the true winner! Nice work. Watch for the 15th, when QotM - February will begin. Remember, nominations will run all the way to Feb. 28 and voting will actually happen in March.

Oh yeah, and I'd recommend you put your quotes in a text file or in the notepad in your User CP on this site so you don't forget the good ones that were made early in the month.
