And yes I mean it SERIOUSLY)
okay...
got a little tiny problem..
My brother wants to make a final fantasy game, and while certain characters and props are easily made, I also need to sprite up certain "end bosses"..
Now before you al go throwing spritesheets at me and make me dissapear in a huge pile of it..
I must add..
That even though I might use some sprite editting as I'm LONG from as good in spriting to create sprites with such intricate detail as those found in FF games.
I will need to sprite certain parts myself WITHOUT help of a bifty sprite base...
And that's where I need help...
I need someone that can help me with advice or even find a tutorial on how to recreate the style used for shading and all in the same realistic way as the sprites of other monsters..
(As if I would change the style, I get to sprite 100+ sprites of monsters!!
And i'm neither THAT crazy nor have the time to do that kind of work.)
So, even though i'm rather uncertain if anyone CAN help me, anyone that has some advice or whatever..?
Anything that could help is welcome..
(and don't mind the time, this is going to take a while..
The rest is still busy with the story and basic construction yet, plus I have to do the "simple" sprites and battle animations for the characters first..)
One last note though..
I do not need help from programmers or other such things..
I do not work on this alone..
There are (apart from me and my brother) 6 others working on it of which 4 are on a technical education (computer programming and such) with my brother included..
(my brother and one other already graduated and are looking for work so they got lot's of time)
Yes this is some heavy stuff..
And yes i'm probably crazy I even try it..
But hey need to so something in your life..
And I have a little help as I got a friend that's into spriting too, only depressing part is that i'm the better spriter..
