I'm going to cover this one quickly incase anyone hasn't noticed. If you're looking for a way to post multiple attachments to the forum, you no longer have to make a separate post for each one! With IPB2 comes the ability of having more than one file attached per post. You can even have those attachments shown inline.

Here's the process. Click "browse" as you usually do for attachments, only this time after selecting the file click "Add Attachment". This will upload the file to the server, and then redirect you back to your post so you can continue writing/editing it.

Attached File  pre_upload.gif (3.07K)
Number of downloads: 1

(After "add attachment")

Attached File  after_upload.gif (5.43K)
Number of downloads: 1

Just repeat the process for all the attachments you need. If you're looking to show some of those inline, use the pretty obvious "Add into Post" button next to the appropriate attachment. It will insert something like this into your post:

Attached File  the_post.gif (8.98K)
Number of downloads: 1

After you're finished, do the usual "Post New Topic" or "Post New Reply". Keep in mind that your attachments won't show up on previewing your post, but they will after you've submited it ;)

You jerk, I was just about to post this. :P
What is it that makes a complete stranger dive into an icy river to save a solid gold baby? Maybe we'll never know.

It's not a coincidence at all! I just read this and then decided that I'd tell Sway to do tell people about this, because I knew that no one really knew. It's all a part of my plan.... heh heh heh heh heh....
I'm just asking for trouble, aren't I?
