I apologize for the downtime, and I want to warn you it may continue off and on. If we move servers, there might be up to a few days of downtime. So stay tuned if something happens, I promise I'll be working on it.

I disagree, Stryder and I used to talk all the time about big problems with IPB that haven't been sorted. He even posted some bugs and was ignored. In my experience vB fixes have come before I've noticed a problem, and overall I feel it is the superior product, especially now that Invision no longer offers an "unlimited free trial" of their software. They are equally reliable as well. vB has a few more features, IPB is a little faster. They both have their strengths, but honestly the only reason we're on IPB (version one at that) is because I don't feel like ponying up another $160.

sounds like a good reason to me not to upgrade, i actually don't like the new version, it's far too complex and busy looking, this is nice and simple, i prefer the old sol skin though i was like wtf have they done, but the top of the page looks cool with the sonic pic
