To all members of Sonic Online.

It has come to my attention recently that some members have expressed, in their opinion, it is only certain moderators that are worst in the staff for reasons here and there. This is a matter of concern and should be addressed.

If you could all familiarize yourself with our rules, and terms of service, you would find out what is, and isn't allowed on these forums, and what we punish for you. Though all our moderators have their own style, we all work to the same set of guidelines and work from this. Any warning points given out are related to direct violations of these rules.

If, at any time, you have concerns related to our rules, and forum as a whole, we will by all means listen to your point of view if it is well constructed and shows specific examples. However, we will not tolerate any kind of direct attack on specific members of the staff, nor, generally, should these concerns be voiced in threads on the forum. This only causes more problems, and people jumping on the band wagon joining in with attacks and flaming, creating a divide of "for and against". The debates - if they could be called this - are not sensible, more I feel them to be very childish. The only reason I can see for specific staff members being targeted is if they are more active than others, therefore seen doing more but unfortunately for them it makes them out to be, somehow, a bad member of staff. We have faith in all our team members, otherwise they would not be part of the team.

Please submit your concerns/complaints, if you have any, in a sensible fashion, and please send them only to either myself or Sway. We will take them up, and discuss them, and give you our points of view on the matter.

I hope you will all respect this so we can avoid threads along any similar vein in the future.

Uh like when you get a warning like could a mod like PM you with the reason you were givin a warning

It's a fair question, and is something we are currently working on changing at the moment though it won't take effect for a week or so. We will be posting some revised information on the rules, and TOS, before too long.

A PM is supposed to be delivered to your mailbox upon warning of a user. I, however, prefer e-mail. Maybe it should be sent to both places?

Yeah because when you get susspened/banned you can't check your PMs

Yes. Most of the time, the staff lets you know somehow. Keep in mind that if you get a PM or email, most likely you got a warning point. If you've been talked to in a thread, there's probably a 50/50 chance. And I don't know who sends PMs once you've been banned, I send emails as well.
