Post any questions about Sprite Cartooning you have here. I will try to answer them myself, but I imagine some of our more experinced cartoonists will be glad to help.

See rule #1, Flame. This is more of a writing/creation thread than a sprite thread. Although your help is appreciated

Make it so each comics different. Always use a different joke in your comics and/or don't steal jokes from other peoples comics. By the way if your comics not supposed to be funny I'll walk off looking stupid.

Comedy has always helped comics stand out. Just make sure your jokes have a wide appeal. For example, I always make sure that my material is good enough and that no one has used something like it yet. Also, make it interesting enough that it stays within the reader's state of mind, so they'll keep coming for more.
God Bless.

No. Keep it interesting. Have stuff HAPPEN. It doesn't have to be action packed or funny as all get out, something just has to be achieved.
Pointless comics suck. We all know it's true. (Look at some on this board, and you'll see what I mean)

Also, good grammar helps a BUNCH. It might not be how you talk, but people won't feel as stupid reading it. Trust me, it's true.

Not true. But then you have to call them 'graphic novels'. I was contemplating doing a serious sprite comic, involving fantasy and monsters and such, but then I've got drunk, and decided to waituntil the ARS picked up.

What if a comic fluctuated? Say, sometimes serious, sometimes funny, sometimes a little of both?

At least he posted somewhat relevant, although you're right, the topic was too old for such a simple post. But let's move on!

What do you need help with exactly? If you go to the top of the Sprite Comics section there are many tutorials that can help you. Actually, here is the link.
"Pss, hey Guido, its all so clear to me now. I'm the keeper of the cheese and you're the lemon merchant, you get it? And he knows it. That's why he's gonna kill us. So we got to beat it, ya, before he let's loose the marmosets on us. Don't worry little missy, I'll save you!"
