Hey guys, I've been looking around for a new forum to join, and the idea of a Sonic the Hedgehog forum seemed pretty awesome.

Some quick background on myself, I'm 24, and have been playing sonic games since sonic the hedgehog, the original, and I was addicted to sonic 2 back on the Sega Genesis. I haven't REALLY played any of the games since Sonic Heroes, which honestly was a bit of a letdown after Sonic Adventure 2, which I really loved and logged a ton of hours on. My favorite characters are Sonic himself, Rogue, and even tho I haven't played Riders, love the design of Wave.

Welcome to SOL, Raimu! Glad to see another fan of the classic games join the boards. You really didn't miss much skipping the games that came out after Sonic Heroes, except for the recently-released Sonic Generations, which you might want to check out if you're into the classic games.

Don't forget Colors, it's also quite awesome. But yeah, Heroes was basically the turning point towards shit for a while. At least for the console games.

Good to have you on board though. Hopefully we can breathe some life back into this trusty old forum.
