Look, I know that SA2 is the most beloved 3D sonic game of all time (Besides SA1) But, a game is not without it's flaws. So What is your main problems with SA2 for the Dreamcast/Gambecube? It can be anything-Plot, voice acting, gameplay, gimmick, characters, etc. Here i'll give you an example...
The Treasure hunting levels i think are just to long and boring. The begining half of knuckle's stages have nothing to do with the plot, the emerald detection system can get pretty annoying as you can only look for one treasure at a time, and just gets so tedious.
So, you just name it. If there's anything you can think of, post it here ^^

The fact that you have to collect all 180 emblems, which is really tedious becuase you have to get all A rankings for everything, just so you can get the bonus green hill stage that isn't available in multiplayer mode >
Wasn't worth all those hours...no, DAYS worth of work!

Well, one common complaint with the game's story is the fact that the whole "hero team vs. villain team" element was so heavily hyped when, in reality, you basically end up accomplishing the same goals in both storylines and save the world from a greater threat either way. I think it would have been much more interesting if they'd gone with a more dynamic approach involving multiple endings, one of which featured the villains succeeding in taking over the world (or whatever they were trying to do—I remember very little about that game's plot besides the broad strokes).
As for gameplay flaws, holy shit, where do I even begin? Sonic Adventure 2 was definitely a game that was more than the sum of its parts; the game is a lot of fun despite being riddled with problems, especially when it comes to the gameplay. The treasure hunting stages were mostly tedious and sparse, the shooter stages were just glorified platforming sections, some of the levels were terribly designed, there were glitches and hit detection problems left and right, the camera was a pain to work with... Then of course there's the whole issue with the frame rate being cut in half in the multiplayer modes.
SA2 did a lot of things right, no question, but it also did a number of things very, very wrong. I think a lot of people remember the game fondly because it was the last inarguably good Sonic title to come out before a decade-long onslaught of crap, not because it was anywhere near perfect.
