Forgive me, but I have never even heard of SatAM. What's that?

Also, I've pretty much given up all hope when it comes to sonic games, period.

First of all SEGA has expressed no desire to put the SatAM characters in the games. SatAM may be a cult favorite, but its fans are a very small part of the fandom compared to fans of the games. AT MOST you might get a possible reference or cameo to a character in one of the games, so who cares?

Also, I don't like the majority of the SatAM fandom, but I'll admit the show did have significantly better storytelling, writing, design, and narrative than any Sonic game in the history of forever so take what you will from that.

To explain, Shock, SatAM stands for Saturday AM, as in morning. It's a shorthand for the American cartoon that was simply called Sonic the Hedgehog, which aired on Saturday mornings, and starred Sonic and group of Freedom Fighters facing off against Robotnik in a robotic wasteland.
