Okay so here are the things that have improved so far (Not including new features, and I may be missing something.) :
1. Animations and graphics. (Graphics not by a WHOLE lot, but animations have been greatly improved.)
2. Dialogue.
3. Combat.
4. Horse riding, fast travel.
5. Wildlife. (Foxes will randomly chase rabbits and other small game, tigers and wolves will randomly chase foxes, rabbits, etc.
6. Non-scripted Dragons. Not all of them are out to destroy the world, apparently. By non-scripted I mean they do whatever they want whenever they want.
7. Quests and AI.
8. Stealth and bows.
9. Daggers. Insta kills on humanoids apparently. "If you have a knife and you're right up close to a guy, you feel like you should be killing him." -Todd Howard.
There is one new thing that I'll post here that I'm not sure how I feel about.. Marriage.
So what do you guys think, if you've even heard about it?

The Dragons being non scripted also means you can bump into them at different times and places within their stomping grounds. The point of this being no two playthroughs or experiences will be identical which is already a strong factor of the open world Bethesda games.
Magic also looks exciting and ramped up in this one, and the ability to use magic in both hands, or magic and a weapon is an awesome feature.

I prefer playing the stealthy character as opposed to rampaging battlemage, but that's just me. I might use magic for the new traps they have added in, and then lie in wait for my target. Anyway, just saving up for it and I'll be picking it up day 1 more than likely. Considering getting it via Steam due to any cool preorder bonuses, but if it's steamworks I'll get it retail to get the badass map.

Anyways. I was under the impression that the Dragon's could go wherever, but generally wouldn't venture outside of what's basically designated as their territory. If they could literally go all over the map that would be fucking stupid for a number of reasons. First of all, what's to stop a level one character from venturing outside and getting fireballed in the face instantly? Second, it turns finding any given dragon into a completely luck based scenario. That doesn't mean the areas they'll be in will be small, I figure they'll be semi free roaming. It's just highly unlikely they can go anywhere on the map.
Also, stealth is pathetically piss easy and broken in Oblivion and Fallout 3/NV, so I hope they fix that for Skyrim. I prefer stealth characters as well, but those games make it way too boring. Still, the magic seems awesome enough to make me want to possibly give it a go.

Agreed on the magic, I'll probably use it more than I thought at first, because of the badass explosion+slow-time-down shout shown in the gameplay. I'm interested to see how the shouts work. It seems there's a lot of room to mix and match spells and shouts. About the dragons, though, you are really supposed to fear them, and not always engage them, so encountering them at a low level would teach you to stay the hell out of their way until you are powerful enough to engage one. (Not necessarily fighting one. Could be scripted. Bethesda mentioned there will be scripted dive bombings, and even non-scripted ones. Those will be rare though.)
This may seem like a silly thing to be happy about, but the dynamic weather system is pretty cool.

You can go to http://elderscrolls.com/daggerfall/ to get the full game in its raw form, and then configure DosBox yourself to run it. Sorry but it's too old to just straight run.

Okay, I'll give that a shot, then.
Anyone want to gift me it on steam, by a chance? Nevermind, preordered.
