"YES!" indeed. People in New York at the site of the World Trade Center are still celebrating to this minute. Although this isnt a victory solely for the United States, it comes as much needed closure for the families of the victims of 9/11. A man who is responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent people received his just desserts.

I'm gonna give ultm8 the benefit of the doubt and assume that he was attempting to say that nobody cares about Osama, himself.
Anyway, good news. Here's hoping that this conflict is that much closer to ending.

Osama bin Laden, albeit a bastard, was a master of planning. Common sense dictates that there would be contingency plans already made in the event he is killed. Being the founder and leader of a worldwide terrorist organization, whose people have proven to be quite vindictive, you can expect retaliation. Keep in mind, these people, as evil as they seem to us, are righteous in their own eyes. They truly believe they are doing the right thing by their terrorist actions, so seeking revenge for the murder of their great spiritual leader will be a major priority of theirs.
Also, I heard the US forces who captured his body dumped it out at sea... I almost feel like it was vindictive of us, because he was indeed someone's son and father, but by executing his plans for 9/11, he ordered the deaths of thousands that we know of. So fuck him and his family for ever supporting him.

Murder is murder, no matter how you look at it. What he and his organization do will always be wrong. They have no right to ruin the lives of innocent people just because they're different.
