Of course. Bti, I live in Alaska, and said river was frozen at the time. But it still counts.

I live in southern Illinois. This is NOT typical weather for us by any standard, and thats really why its kicking so many asses. The town my girlfriend lives in put up their flood gates for the first time in history. The part I really wish I could have seen of all this was when the National Guard blew up the levee near Cairo IL. It just wasnt as exciting to see the explosions on the news...

That's pretty hardcore, dude. If I had been driving and seen that in front of me, I would have said "fuck it" and turned back. Unless I was really drunk and feeling courageous, in which case I might have stood up on the gas and attempted to hydroplane across the water.
Hey kids, remember to drink your drugs, stay in milk, and don't do school!

This, believe it or not, wasn't the worst flooded road I drove down. I cant get the pics of it on here right now, but one of these roads where I live had water rushing across it that was literally knee deep. I stopped about halfway through and got out to perform a redneck assessment, it just about knocked me off my feet. I thought my ass was goin in the ditch that time.

In a related note, this story was semi-relevant to me, in that my old man is a retired farmer. Ive been to Cairo IL, and frankly, ida let the fuckin place flood. People were throwing RAGING fits about the Guard taking so long to blow up the levee to avoid the possible destruction of Cairo, claiming that farm ground was "no comparison to human life."

There is an area of farm land near there that was flooded like that over 20 years ago, and to this day they STILL cannot farm that ground because of the contamination. That fucking shit in Cairo can all be rebuilt, but that farm ground is fucked for a guaranteed 5 years. Lets see how much those cocksuckers enjoy groceries and produce rising 300% over the next 5 years because they didn't want to get their fucking carpet wet.
