I'll help you if you'll stop fucking posting in dead topics that are months (and even YEARS) old and were never going anywhere. They were dead because no one gave a shit the first time around, and they should STAY dead. That one where you asked if the guy drew it or not? He did not. The guy used a shitty Sonic fan character creator for all of those dumbass pics. Harsh? Indeed, but its fucking lame and does not deserve compliment nor criticism. There is no skill or art in selecting pre-created body parts, placing them on a template body, and dressing it up in a bunch of unnecessary bullshit. That's playing Mr. Potato Head with fur.

BAH, dont worry 'bout it. You already have more of my respect than most fan character lovers because you're actually taking the initiative to do your own art instead of taking the lazy way out, or begging someone else with talent to do it for you.

Do you have ANY pics of your character? Or even some info about it? (species, color, size, weight, etc) Also, are you wanting to draw pencil & paper sketches, or were you wanting to use an art program like Paint.NET to draw your pics?

Paint.NET is a great free image program. If you're looking for more editing options than Paint.NET has to offer, then Gimp is another great free option.

Well... artistically speaking, id change a lot about his basic design. If you intend to draw him a lot, then id make a less complex spine formation, and take away the bullshit clothing, unless it serves a valid purpose. Just as an example, I changed a character ive drawn for years to wear leather work gloves and boots, because he has a job in the appropriate field. Ive also taken away his wrist bands because they're HORRIBLY cliche because of Shadow and his bastard followers.

Sonic hasnt worn anything but gloves, socks, and shoes since 1991, and its worked for him so far. Any argument about it covering something up is also bullshit, since you're not drawing porn (that I know of)

And on a potentially upsetting note, his "backstory", info, and "powers" are painfully cliche and over done. There is a whole world of possibilities out there, fantasy abilities and skills people may not have even thought of, MUST he be yet another Hedgehog born/possessing/made from/that uses Chaos power? There are hundreds of creatures that already exist that are better, more original choices than a hedgehog, and there are hundreds of pre-existing "super powers" you could bestow upon this guy to make him more "your own", instead of another overpowered cookie-cutter fanfag disaster.

A lion is something I never see. They're very powerful animals, and the spines on this hedgehog guy already form what could be a mane. He could be above-average in strength and speed, and have a "super power" that is more befitting to his kind, and STILL wouldn't be as boring and lazy as a Shadow clone.

Yep, GIMP is what I use now and it's got some pretty neat stuff!
