Wait, I just checked the math. Falling speed after 2.5 seconds would be 54.8 mph. Fuck, you were right.
Damn right I was! Nobody questions my redneck math, ya hear? NOBODY!!

I saw the advertisement for it in STH #190-something, but I dismissed it as an excuse to trot out half-baked plots involving dumbass characters no one gives a shit about... I was wrong, big time. The arc going on right now with Silver is fucking awesome, they completely reversed my opinion of him. In the comic he's a space-time traveling "detective" hunting down a "traitor among the Freedom Fighters" that is supposedly the cause of his post-apocalyptic timeline. And he has a very interesting "master" too, that I wont spoil.

Knights of the Old Repulic is a pretty fun game, but guess what, Metroid Prime is a really fun game. The whole point of your argument (and troll) is comparing 2 different types of games, that's like saying Mario Kart on N64 is better than Resident Evil 2. They're 2 completely different games, but I'm guessing that your next post will be "Go fellatio Mario or Leon Kennedy, miles_joke". Get a better insult then "joke" and please stop telling us your wet dreams.
I also love the fact that in the predators thread, you had nothing to say on my comment. You quoted it, but you didn't say a thing about, because I put you in your place, BITCH.
ARGH, QUIT FEEDIN THE TROLL DAMNIT!!! DX
He already confessed to being 30, and whether he was telling the truth or not, thats fucking pitiful enough...
Also, points for using my favorite word to shout at people~ (the one in bold)
And finally, I agree with Marx's last post. This guy isn't HALF the pain in the ass that razourik brat was. (THERE IS NO DAMN "U" IN *RAZOR*, FUCKIN BRITS!!!)
He sure likes the word "fellatio"... I declare his nickname to be Fellatio Caine! *gives him sunglasses* Now put these on as you say an unfunny situational pun so The Who can play Wont Get Fooled Again loudly!!

And why should I, Mr. adamg0d? Because it made you look bad? You expect us to be nice to you when you treat us exactly the opposite; your hypocrisy has no bounds. You could start by apologizing to the community here, and maybe we'll forgive your utter stupidity. Otherwise, we could stay on this flame-train. Your choice, bro.

After beating Metroid Prime for the 7th time one day, I whipped out the Action Replay to use on it to see what the game would be like with certain weapons earlier in the game... You would not believe how badly the Phazon Beam
WHO ELSE HERE LOVES METROID? Come on, don't let this surprisingly active thread become a pansy's bitchfest!

I don't even think I ever got to fight the Plated Beetle because Chozo Ghosts were in its room when I went back for the artifact. Plus, by that point, they were already appearing a normal enemies outside the room.
A little while back, someone discovered a glitch that allows for you to keep all of your weapons at the beginning of Echoes.

I was sequence breaking in Super Metroid before I ever even knew the proper term was "sequence breaking." That bitch Phantoon never knew what hit'im.
Speaking of Gold, Im the one who taught him about the "space-time beam" glitch in Super Metroid. I wonder what thats all about... maybe a debug function for testers that someone knew about or just happened to discover?
Speaking of sci-fi Nintendo franchise games, is there any news on a new Starfox game? Im jonesing for some Arwing action...

I liked the sci-fi spin the game put on the light-dark struggle as well and how it wasn't "Light is good, Dark is evil.", but "Matter and antimatter hurt eachother and our enemies are beings of antimatter. Also, Phazon can corrupt light energy into dark energy." With Phazon being an organic element, the existence of Phaz-Ings, and the fact that Phaaze was a living planet trying to corrupt everything with itself, this explains why the Ing were the way that they were. As for why Dark Samus fights with them, this may be because Phazon, while able to corrupt light energy into darkness, is still a being from the light side.
As for Star Fox, I'd need to go ask Nick. He loves the Star Fox games.

Couldn't have said that better myself. They were really original the way they made Light and Dark energy more of an elemental force than an ethereal alignment, yet they were still symbolic of their race and spiritual faith. ("May the Light of Aether shine upon you" and such) I like when games utilize Light and Dark as elemental powers, but remind the player that they aren't necessarily one arbitrary alignment or another simply because a character is proficient in it. The Mana games are some of the few like that. Shade, the "Elemental of Darkness" was still revered as a sacred spirit of Mana and was only feared because of his attitude, not because of his dark powers.
Dark Samus, Emperor Ing, Quadraxis, that game had some bitchin' bosses. I can understand why they left Ridley out of the game, although an Ing-posessed Dark Ridley would have been fucking awesome to see.

Immune to every weapon but the power beam. Why it was coded that way is beyond me.
As for echoes, I loved it too, but there was so much missed potential. Dark Ridley couldn't make it, so many areas were left out of having a dark counterpart. It could have been so much bigger.

They may not have anticipated players meeting that boss with out-of-sequence weapons, so they didnt bother adding vulnerability to those weapons. Or it could be the BEAM that was not coded to affect it, who the hell knows.
Another tidbit about the Phazon Beam cheat code, you could not use it before you got to Talon IV. The game simply would not allow it. Oh, and the button to activate it was C-Down, the only C-Stick direction not used. If you had anything but the Power Beam equipped and tried to push C-Down, the Phazon Beam would equip, but it would appear solid black. When I took the "fake" Phazon Beam up against Metroid Prime I thought it would only damage him while you were standing in the Phazon pools, but it damaged him continuously, pool or not. It also never said "Hyper Mode" on-screen while you were using the Phazon Beam.
