Well. As some of you may know, I've had problems with Steam in the past, but this time, they did something right. Adding a great game.
Only 3 words needed. Mount & Blade: Warband. The game is epic. The battles and combat system are great in a lot of ways. The archery and crossbows are all fun, and there is a very high level of character customization. Plus your other party members will interact with eachother. If you have a hawt chick in your party, some of your other members will react accordingly...If you have an overly cocky nobleman in your party, once again, other members react accordingly. There is a nice level of realism, and owning your own village is interesting. But before I get too far into detail about it, go check it out for yourself. http://store.steampo....com/app/48700/ I'd look at reviews if I were you, but I can give you a bit more information by saying the following: It's an RPG. You travel from city to city, engage in combat once you run into enemies, but the cool thing is, these battles are in real-time. You can lose men and you do not get them back. You can get captured and held as a prisoner untill you escape. You can block in many different directions if you don't have a shield, and you can slash in just as many directions. The archery and your accuracy with the bow and arrow all depends on your skill in it. You can ride horses throughout the battlefield, and the online play is great. The online battlefields are massive, almost as big as Bad Company 2.
Probably a lot of you have fallen into the "DO WANT CALL OF DUTY PLZ" And will find this game boring, but it's worth a look at least. There is a demo that is completely free but includes 30 in game days. I made it last about 10 hours and was very upset when it was over.

I've been meaning to check this game out for a while, but I wasn't too impressed with the original. Any information on why this version is much better?
