Controls are good, but I never did like it when I had to shake the remote to do something, especially when a button would've done the same. It sorta hurts my already wrists to shake the controller so often.

Here's some nice concept art. I can't wait until somebody uploads the entire gallery. If any of them happen to be really nice and big, I'm making it my new desktop background.

Also, this game's much harder than the original trilogy. Beautiful stage designs, too. I like levels where everything becomes a silhouette in terms of graphical and audio style the most.
Listen to those type of levels' theme!
It's a jazzy remix of DKC's first stage theme.

You just earned my approval with playing OB64.
I'll try to get this and Colors when I can. Golden Sun: Dark Dawn takes priority though.

Oddly, this one reminds me of Planet Wisp. It's pretty cool that they brought back the girder levels, though. I think the only DK game they were in (other than the arcade games obviously) was Donkey Kong Land.

This one really reminds me of the original DKC games with the trees and that realistic ship.

No Diddy Kong.
Only one heart, so getting hit at all is instant death.
No inventory items may be used, meaning no temporary invulnerability nor ability to take a hit whatsoever.
Reflection of stages are played, from right to left.
Stages are harder than in the original DKC trilogy.
If you're somebody who relies on Super Kong to get you out of tough spots, then I have terrible news for you...
Fuck the fourth temple stage in mirror mode. Burned through 80-90 lives and I'm still not finished with it. There are no checkpoints in these temple stages and they're longer and more difficult than the regular stages. This stage seems like it was designed for both Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong but, even playing this stage under normal circumstances with both characters, I still got hit at least once. Plus, it was still pretty hard even then...
