...communism looked really good on paper. Except it was open to abuse by the greedy, and well, you got Stalin. He's talking about an entirely free market economy, i.e. no government intervention...

Вы не знаете, что вы говорите! Такие ошибочной и unfelt слова не удалось разведки. Мы увидим, какие государственные дольше. Америки или Китая. Вы школьника!

if there's one thing capitalism isn't open to abuse from, especially without government regulation, it's the greedy
What is it that makes a complete stranger dive into an icy river to save a solid gold baby? Maybe we'll never know.

By the way. There are documents of the churches around and before the 1600s marrying the same sex. It wasn't always a 'sin in the bible'. Marriage has been allowed between the same sex before, and gays weren't always outcast. Jealousy is the only motive here for trying to outlaw it, that and bigotry. Regardless, I think in due time America will be free, at least to the point that gay's can have the same rights a man/woman married couple have.

You shouldn't go off on tangents about subjects you know nothing about, Tragedy.

It would be wonderful if the issue was as black and white as that with such an obviously "good" solution, but it isn't.

"ewww gays" is actually the only reason, it literally is that black and white

buuuut, it has always been a sin, albeit a very outdated one that's not a big deal (the big passage is from the same section that outlaws eating shellfish and other stuff no one follows). weird how much people latch onto it

not that i have any idea what that has to do with anything

Who knew Californians were so deeply religious. Or maybe Proposition 8 passing was just a fluke...

they are only 21% non-religious (for comparison, alabama is 11% and wisconsin is 15%), cali is actually sharply divided between the more liberal and the more conservative (hence reagan and their terrible state house), and the mormons (many from utah) campaigned like crazy, with some people literally spending their life savings to donate to the church for this "cause"

liberals are actively trying to destroy america for no discernible reason. they just hate it because of whatever and have really complicated machiavellian plans to take down the nation so that they will be powerless, poor, and despised
