I'm sorry Marx, but the only idiot I can see here is the raging fanboy who's been tossing insults around at people for either strongly disagreeing with you, or simply disliking something in your precious games. It's one thing to greatly enjoy a game. It's another thing entirely to be a complete asshat about it. Grow up, or shut up. Seriously. Anyone with even a spark of common sense knows when it's pointless to rant and rave over a video game when others who share love for the same games have different views.

It's fine that you love the games, but you disrespect them the way you handle your debates. You've got no business insulting anyone unless they insult you. Disagreement is not an insult. Having a different view and opinion over a game is not an insult. And most importantly, pointing out how childish you're acting is not an insult.

I'm sorry, dude, but it seems to me like you're the only one who's overreacting here. The few insults I've made thus far has been in jest. Except for the one I just made; I really do think you're a moron for taking any insult I've made too seriously.

Everything else I've said? Attempting to understand why Sway had certain problems with the what was introduced in the Prime games, just me stating my opinion about why I think the game won't fail, giving my opinion about what I feel would've made Shadow Complex a better game, and saying that I liked certain suit designs more than others. The most I've tried to do is try to get people to give this game a chance before claiming it will suck. I've never once told people that they had a wrong opinion. I may talk too much, but I've never acted as if another person's opinion was stupid unless I was doing it jokingly. Looking back, I think the only two people I've insulted were you and NN, but the latter figured I was joking.

I think you're still butt-hurt over me telling you that all but one of your four reasons for hating Fusion were fucking retarded (which they were) and only skimmed over the conversation (I'm basing this on the fact that, earlier, you fucked up and missed that we were talking about Shadow Complex and not Other M) because you felt like bitching at me for disagreeing with other people.

So, in short: Quit yer bitchin', learn sarcasm, don't skim posts, and lighten the fuck up. Also, grow a pair, because obviously, not being super nice causes you to start bitching at me.

Well, it looks like our fears were confirmed and that hope I had was shattered. Despite the game being really linear, I was hoping at least for some good item hunting exploration and new abilities, but it seems like I've been denied even that. The controls are also a bit awkward and I think it was silly to prevent the team from allowing the use of the nun-chuck attachment when they were more than willing to implement it. Not having the ability to manually lock on to things was stupid. I'm still going to play the game out of obligation and, hopefully, I'll enjoy it more than this reviewer. At the very least, I'm expecting myself to enjoy the story it attempts to tell. To be honest, I didn't have a problem with Samus talking or the game having a deeper story than the other Metroids, but I was really hoping it'd be in between Corruption and Fusion in terms of linearity and dialogue, not way past Fusion. I guess I was hoping for too much in a story driven Metroidvania game that boasted a two hour theater mode which, based on what I just read, will not be mostly just prerecorded gameplay footage a la New Super Mario Bros. Wii instead of story.

Although for the record, if this is accurate, I fucking knew the controls would blow and I fucking knew that the cutscenes would not be primarily prerecorded gameplay. No idea why anyone thought otherwise.

I actually feared the controls, but other reviewers apparently love them according to the responses to that review. Some of the detection problems this reviewer may have been experiencing may have been due to interference. Still, I've always thought some of the control decisions were stupid.

As for the cutscenes, that was just me being overly optimistic and I don't see why that was too much of a bad thing considering that we were already told that the theater mode would include prerecorded gameplay. For one who felt it were possible to have this game be a Metroidvania, for the most part, and have story elements, this wasn't too far-fetched.

Yeah, I looked this up, and while I expected varied reviews, some of these opinions are all over the place. I'm still pretty confident the controls will be mediocre and story will not be good, though. In fact, there is at least one spot in the story that I've come across that makes so little sense, and is so completely out of character, that I'm not sure how it made the final cut.

Okay, so I read another review that says item hunting actually occurs. Dammit, which the fuck is it?!

The Destructoid guy said that items become visible on the map after killing every enemy in the room and that there was little room for exploration while the IGN dude is suggesting that you'll probably not find everything on your first go. I'm wondering, did that Destructoid reviewer even get 100% or is this IGN guy just crappy? I'm inclined to believe the Destructoid guy simply because he's apparently a big Metroid fan as well.
