I don't really hate Nintendo Wii, but it's libary sucks. Everytime I go to Wal-Mart or EB Games, every wii game I see is either a promotion game, a lame sim game, or some other kind of crap. There's only a few good games. There's a lot of crappy promotion games on Nintendo DS too.
That's why I hate it when a sonic game only comes out for the wii or Nintendo DS

Geez, Silver, how many dragonball Z chracters do you have to rip off?
Is there anybody on this forum that isn't mean?

On the DS side, are you fucking nuts? It sucks that your DS broke, but when my GBA and DS broke it was my fault both times, other than that I have owned a GB Pocket, a GB color, a GBA, and SP, a Micro, a DS, and a DS Lite and none of them have ever had any problems that were Nintendo's fault and the GB Pocket still works and has been in use since I got it (it's been handed down to a few different cousins, and it has had to endure constant abuse from toddlers for the past several years) and it still works fantastically. So I'm going to say you're either full of bullshit in that it was anything but your fault, or you just had horrendous luck of the draw and should just get over it, there's no way to guarantee a piece of electronic equipment will work flawlessly 100% of the time, but Nintendo's got a damn good track record. Plus if it was only six months and it wasn't your fault it would have been covered by warranty. How about that?
And even with shovelware the DS still has what is probably the strongest library on the market right now, and easily one of the strongest libraries in history. The only other system I can think of where you can ask someone for their top 15-20ish games and get as much variety on the answers is the Genesis and that system was built on experimenting to find something that could beat the Juggernaut of Nintendo.
I can't think of a recent system that has as many must play titles with 3 killer Castlevanias including the best new direction for the series in the past decade, two great Megaman titles worthy of following up the Zero saga, Contra 4 being the best Megaman 9 esk return to form for a series bar... Megaman 9 itself, the biggest and baddest generation of Pokemon yet after the GBA gen felt a tad underwhelming compared to G&S, New Super Mario Bros., Sonic Rush, The World Ends With You, two great Advance Wars titles, Knights in the Nightmare is the first bullet hell action strategy RPG ever made and it is glorious, and several other great titles I could also mention.

So... Knights in the Nightmare. I remember you were telling me about that game. Bullet Hell was not something you brought up when describing it. Reason I haven't actually tried to get that one yet is because I haven't played Yggdra Union nor Riviera yet. Tell me, would not having played either of those games have any effect on my KitN experience?

Also, the shoulder button thing is just dust build up. It happens most often on the Lite model, and especially if you carry it around in your pocket. Just cup your mouth over the whole button and blow a couple times. Sounds weird, but it really does work.

...... No comment. I have arguements, but I am so sick of you so persistent on arguing and bashing me on everything I say on this forum. Why do you insist on being so mean?

And then you go and bash the Wii and DS with the most cliche and inane arguments against Nintendo that don't even have very much merit. Yes there's shovelware, does that even come close to ruining the consoles? Fuck no.
Now if you'll excuse me I'm going back to watching the ending cutscene of Final Fantasy V because I just dusted it off a beat Shinryu finally and felt like beating the game to celebrate. Now it's on to Neo-Shinryu I guess.
Actually fuck that. I'm not wasting that much time.

Trust me, if we were trying to be mean to you, we would be way harsher. We're like this with even eachother.
Also, you're full of crap (again, don't be overly sensitive) about not wanting to argue! This is a very subjective matter. You can't create a topic like this an NOT expect somebody to come in and argue against your points.

I always considered myself a goddamn philistine than a true moron, though.
Yes, I just said that so I could have an excuse to post this:
Man, I gotta call Nick and see if he's actually played this yet. I already knew that I'm probably not gonna get my game back until November, at the earliest, when I traded it to him, but I really wanted to finally get around to playing NSMBW, even if it meant not actually having beaten the final boss on Bitter before then, and this was the most convenient method.
