I hate Nintendo DS. I only had one for six months untill it broke. Then with all the activy in the top screen and all the cliffs in the bottom screen and the unresponsive controls, I grew to loathe the thing. Besides, why are they making it bigger anyway? I thought a Nintendo DS was supposed to be portable?
I don't really hate Nintendo Wii, but it's libary sucks. Everytime I go to Wal-Mart or EB Games, every wii game I see is either a promotion game, a lame sim game, or some other kind of crap. There's only a few good games. There's a lot of crappy promotion games on Nintendo DS too.
That's why I hate it when a sonic game only comes out for the wii or Nintendo DS

Geez, Silver, how many dragonball Z chracters do you have to rip off?
Is there anybody on this forum that isn't mean?

The Wii has plenty of shovelware and crap, yes, but almost everything that isn't shovelware or crap is downright gold with No More Heroes, Smash Bros, Metroid Prime, Twilight Princess, Mad World, House of the Dead Overkill, Okami, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and a handful other titles I could mention that are damn good at worst and amazing at best. It's definitely a case of 95% crap, but the 5% gold is still freaking gold. Would I like it to be developed for more seriously, yes, but it's not hate able, at least it doesn't have the problems the other two systems have with rehash after rehash and carbon copy after carbon copy. All three systems have problems, but they all have strong points as well. Deal with it.

On the DS side, are you fucking nuts? It sucks that your DS broke, but when my GBA and DS broke it was my fault both times, other than that I have owned a GB Pocket, a GB color, a GBA, and SP, a Micro, a DS, and a DS Lite and none of them have ever had any problems that were Nintendo's fault and the GB Pocket still works and has been in use since I got it (it's been handed down to a few different cousins, and it has had to endure constant abuse from toddlers for the past several years) and it still works fantastically. So I'm going to say you're either full of bullshit in that it was anything but your fault, or you just had horrendous luck of the draw and should just get over it, there's no way to guarantee a piece of electronic equipment will work flawlessly 100% of the time, but Nintendo's got a damn good track record. Plus if it was only six months and it wasn't your fault it would have been covered by warranty. How about that?

And even with shovelware the DS still has what is probably the strongest library on the market right now, and easily one of the strongest libraries in history. The only other system I can think of where you can ask someone for their top 15-20ish games and get as much variety on the answers is the Genesis and that system was built on experimenting to find something that could beat the Juggernaut of Nintendo.

I can't think of a recent system that has as many must play titles with 3 killer Castlevanias including the best new direction for the series in the past decade, two great Megaman titles worthy of following up the Zero saga, Contra 4 being the best Megaman 9 esk return to form for a series bar... Megaman 9 itself, the biggest and baddest generation of Pokemon yet after the GBA gen felt a tad underwhelming compared to G&S, New Super Mario Bros., Sonic Rush, The World Ends With You, two great Advance Wars titles, Knights in the Nightmare is the first bullet hell action strategy RPG ever made and it is glorious, and several other great titles I could also mention.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm missing some all important truth in the world. At that point I usually grab some chips and watch the people who have apparently found it tear each other apart in the super market over the now last bag of chips...

^What he said, although, I do have to admit, it seems that the shoulder buttons on the DS wear out really quickly and that's not just something that happened to me, but this could probably be blamed me hitting them too hard. Haven't actually had this problem with my current DS, so this was probably what was happening.

So... Knights in the Nightmare. I remember you were telling me about that game. Bullet Hell was not something you brought up when describing it. Reason I haven't actually tried to get that one yet is because I haven't played Yggdra Union nor Riviera yet. Tell me, would not having played either of those games have any effect on my KitN experience?

Um, other than not knowing who Hector is, not really. And you really don't need to know anything about him anyways to enjoy the game. The great thing about the Dept. Heaven cycle is that you can play the games in any order because they all take place in different dimensions just sharing the same heaven and hell so the overarching story is important to the series, but not to the individual games. It can be pieced together separately with no real issue on your enjoyment of the individual games.

Also, the shoulder button thing is just dust build up. It happens most often on the Lite model, and especially if you carry it around in your pocket. Just cup your mouth over the whole button and blow a couple times. Sounds weird, but it really does work.

...... No comment. I have arguements, but I am so sick of you so persistent on arguing and bashing me on everything I say on this forum. Why do you insist on being so mean?

Because you say stupid shit that you have obviously put no intelligent thought into. You also clearly have no taste in video games. There's a difference between having an opinion, and thinking that Sonic 06 is in any way decent or anything else but complete shit. It's a glitchy mess that was rushed out the ass, and even if it hadn't been rushed it's apparent it still would've sucked.

And then you go and bash the Wii and DS with the most cliche and inane arguments against Nintendo that don't even have very much merit. Yes there's shovelware, does that even come close to ruining the consoles? Fuck no.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going back to watching the ending cutscene of Final Fantasy V because I just dusted it off a beat Shinryu finally and felt like beating the game to celebrate. Now it's on to Neo-Shinryu I guess.

Actually fuck that. I'm not wasting that much time.

Is it just me or are you the most sensitive member we've had in a long time? You need to stop allowing anything that could have been said more nicely bother you and you need to not use getting your feelings hurt as an excuse for not presenting an argument that'll make you look more credible.

Trust me, if we were trying to be mean to you, we would be way harsher. We're like this with even eachother.

Also, you're full of crap (again, don't be overly sensitive) about not wanting to argue! This is a very subjective matter. You can't create a topic like this an NOT expect somebody to come in and argue against your points.

Yeah, I call Marx an idiot all the time. Doesn't change the fact that we're net buds.

The fact that he's an idiot I mean. And a lazy fuck.

Hell, I argue with all the guys over at PA damn near constantly.

Hey, I resemble those remarks!

I always considered myself a goddamn philistine than a true moron, though.

Yes, I just said that so I could have an excuse to post this:

Man, I gotta call Nick and see if he's actually played this yet. I already knew that I'm probably not gonna get my game back until November, at the earliest, when I traded it to him, but I really wanted to finally get around to playing NSMBW, even if it meant not actually having beaten the final boss on Bitter before then, and this was the most convenient method.

Yep, that's one of the most fun boss fights too. Actually 4-2 are all amazingly fun, and 1's pretty good too.

Unless you're on Bitter. That fight can go to hell. You're going to have a hard time convincing me Jasper Batt Jr.'s second form isn't a bunch of bullshit on Bitter once he starts teleport punching. Then he gets an even more lethal version of the attack when his health gets low enough! Dodging is possible, but barely. Then there's that window. Yeah, you can just stay away from it, but he can and has teleport punched me to and out of it on one occasion. From the opposite side of the room.

Yeah, it's pretty damn tough. It's not complete bullshit though. I actually had the hardest time with Skelter Helter on Bitter.

I'll admit that Skelter Helter is pretty hard on Bitter, but I was able to develop a strategy that made him significantly easier. Still, it's awe inspiring how he becomes that much more of a challenge on Bitter. To be honest, aside from the final boss' second form, I thought the New Destroymen were the hardest.

I wish Charlie and Kimmy actually got harder, though.
