Haven't really used any PS CS5 new stuff -- I've had the content aware fill for years and years through a plug-in anyway. I like Illustrator's seemingly tighter selection of points/paths, but it might be my imagination, and I like InDesign's ability to have pages of different sizes in one document. I also like Dreamweaver's stuff that allows you to run PHP stuff locally, so you can work on WordPress or something without bothering with a separate server on localhost.

A friend of mine went to one of the demonstrations for it and he said that they have a new rotoscoping feature in After Effects that's just crazy.. he said that instead of outlining frame by frame, all they did was draw a vertical line down a guy and another across the shoulders and it tracked him for the whole video. If it's really true, I might just have to drop Nuke completely...

Oh yeah, that's right, that is true. I don't get to use AE as much anymore. Of course, nothing ever works as good as the demo, but yeah.

I use them all for their intended purpose. Depends on what I need to do, but I make use of the whole suite. Just in the past few weeks, I made an ID badge layout in Photoshop, a t-shirt design in Illustrator, laid out a playbill in InDesign, and started working on a couple WordPress themes in Photoshop and Dreamweaver. Last month I made an RSS Adobe AIR app using Flash and Flex Builder. Soon I'll be editing podcasts in SoundBooth and maybe making Requiem help me if I need some skilled technical help (the man has the magic touch with sound), but I doubt it since the audio quality will be pretty good. After Effects/video compositing and special effects is a hobby of mine, but I've been out of it for a while and have lost my touch.
