Because it's meant to highlight certain words and is distracting when it's otherwise expected to be done a certain way. I hate it when people change their color or font as well and have considered removing those options in the past.

Look, I get it, you like Halo, but no one is going to debate you on the merits of the franchise vs. others or whatever the fuck you're trying to do. Once a game reaches a certain level of quality, anything said is totally up to personal preference -- they can't even really be judged on artistic merit because games aren't really art. So it's all about how much fun you have. If you have more fun with Halo, great. If Muzzy doesn't like it, fine. But start a Halo thread about it if you really care, because I don't give a shit and I want it out of this topic. It's such a stupid "debate."

Okay maybe I was a bit harsh in questioning why I ever liked Halo, I just got tired of it after I beat one game. I play now only when my Halo loving friends are around.

I do still think Gears has a better, more diverse weapon set.

I was just looking up that one Dark City soundtrack cover of Mad World because Curt Smith was on Psych, and if anyone recalls, the first GoW1 teaser trailer used that song.
