Also, that trailer's kinda hard to view. I'm gonna try to find a higher quality version of it.

If all the characters' respective strengths and abilities were preserved without any kind of adjustment for the sake of keeping things balanced, nine-tenths of the Marvel characters would kill the fuck out of all the Capcom characters inside of five minutes. This is one of the reasons I'm so opposed to Capcom putting bullshit characters like Roll and Sakura in their crossover games. Speaking of which, at least Chris Redfield actually has weapons at his disposal, including a gun. For that reason alone he makes a lot more sense in this kind of game than Frank fucking West.
I really hope Capcom makes better decisions when compiling this game's roster than they did with Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. I heard something about this game having "over 30 characters", in which case the roster is going to be significantly smaller than MvC2. They're really going to have to choose wisely among all of the available characters from both companies if they want to make the best use of so few open slots. I think they're off to a good start, but we've only seen six characters out of thirty-something at this point, so there's still a lot of room for "WTF?" entrants that make no sense except for Capcom being typically wacky.

Super Skrull, Captain America, Thanos, Chun-li, Felicia, Deadpool, and Dante.
I'm pretty Sure the One behind Deadpool is Spider-Woman and the one below Chris's Wrist is probly Frank West.

Gametrailers.com gives the pop-up (or Pop-Block©) treatment to the MvC3 announcement trailer. It offers no real new information, but it's still kind of interesting.
EDIT: Huh, media tags aren't working. Okay, visit the URL I guess.

Almost the entire top of the tier list for MvC2 was Marvel characters. They all had either easy infinites, easy access to fucktons of chip damage, or both.
They aren't worried about balance competitively or within the cross-verse. It's all about flashy and fun. Personally I think competitive balance usually adds to the fun, but I do admittedly love my Servebot buddy.

I'm wondering how they are going to apply tekken movesets into a street fighter environment and vice versa. Gold, you should get some tissues for this

Unfortunately grapplers and counter characters tend to suck compared to projectile spammers and high combo characters which leads to people like me sucking really bad at them despite only kind of sucking at other fighting games.
Also, Deadpool, Joe, and Ammy. I will be using them, no matter how bad they suck, or how bad I suck with them.
