My favorite was when Sway made up that fake letter from Sega to make us all think the website was being shut down.

Mobo fried, went through three different places ordering an exact model replacement only to have them tell me it's not in stock over a week later, went with a different model finally, which messes up a Windows install typically, then repairing the installation didn't work. Oh, and before any of that I had to get a new optical drive since this board has no IDE, and the drive was not being recognized as long as I had my DVI cable plugged into my video card. What the fuck. So now I'm on the onboard video and I'm literally using Ubuntu 9.10 from Live CD until I can transfer my files to an external drive, wipe this baby and install Windows 7.

Yeah I could use my MacBook here but I hate typing for an extended period on it.
What is it that makes a complete stranger dive into an icy river to save a solid gold baby? Maybe we'll never know.
