Okay, so I admit it: I am a loser for not checking this game out when I first heard about it some months ago. I even watched a video and it looked interesting, but I hadn't actually bothered playing the demo.

Well, I did today. Man, the two levels I played were hard (and I was playing with a controller, by the way), but really fun for some reason! Also, the music is pretty cool, too. Graphically, the game's really nice to look at, even if it's just in 8-bit.

I'm not even gonna bother trying to explain too much about the game this time because I have articles, a gameplay video, and even screen caps from the demo:

As the article stated, the only real problem aside from its difficulty is its price considering the length of the game.

Edit: I just remembered I could just post the video here instead of linking to it.

So Terry finally finished this, looks a lot better than I originally thought it would turn out.

Fighting on the internet is like running in the special olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.

So, bought it a few days ago. It's been reduced to only $5 on Steam. On top of that, there's a 10% discount, although I don't know how long that's gonna last. Didn't actually play it until now due to having to finish some assignments and being too lazy to actually play the game when I was finished.

Anyway, it's infuriating, but really fun. Really getting tired of moving much more quickly than it seems I should. At first, I thought it was because of my controller and there was wireless interference causing me to move too quickly, but other characters in the game move just as quickly when you allow them to move. Been playing for about an hour and forty-eight minutes and have died 719 times, though, about 5-10 minutes of that time was in the menu, paused.

Music is really catchy and I'm loving it.

I really love the somewhat Metroidvanian level design, too. Room names are really amusing with most of them being jokes or directly referencing the player.

Will be going back to the game now.

I'm gonna be the only one to ever talk about this game, aren't I?

I finished it, by the way...

Sorry, friend. Platformers don't build interest like they used to. Now it's all about the fucking Halo. Stupid motherfucking Halo. Well, anyways, don't try to show this to a Halo fan, I'm sure they'd list reasons MasterChief is so much better than a pixelated 2-D man tossed into a flat world of ancient pixels.

No, on a serious note, this game is actually entertaining. Tell you when I beat it.

Cool. Especially tell me about your experiences with the trinket in the room named "Doing Things The Hard Way".

Edit:

By the way, I think the soundtrack, which has been named PPPPPP, is pretty damned awesome.
