Okay, well, for some reason I can't login to Demonoid. I tried restarting my pass, but to no avail. I figured I'd just make a new account, see if that works...but I'd need an invite. If anyone has one, would you mind PMing me an invite?

How the hell do you get into Demonoid outside of invites, anyway? I tried to do it some years ago, but I had come just after they prevented new members from signing up.

You don't! Invites are the only way. What generally happens is one of two things:
1) Trackers are initially open then become invite only
2) Trackers start off by inviting selective people, who invite others, and so on.
Some trackers are insanely inclusive and hard to get into and you need an incredibly high share ratio, to know the sites to visit, and other things to ever even get considered.

If you really want an invite though, it could be arranged. I find it dull as far as trackers go.

Thanks, but that's not really needed. I have my methods of getting things. Plus, I really only go after old games and I already know a place that I can go to that has just about everything I'd care to get.
Does Destructoid hold torrents for things other than pirated contents? Maybe some cool fangames or freeware?

Yeah, you can find stuff here and there on it. You'll also be able to find portable versions of some programs, some MUGEN packs, and various other things.
