Super Mario Galaxy coming on the 23rd of May is also great news as well.
I read about what time of year they were coming out on Kotaku/Joystiq/Destructoid earlier today, but saw nothing of actual dates. Strange how I haven't actually heard anything of the Nintendo Summit. I'll need to go check this out.

And no, taking time to improve is not fun, completing a challenge to improve is fun. The reason it takes time to improve is because it takes you so much time to get good enough to complete the challenge. Monster Hunter isn't hard though, it's just tedious as all hell. See, the monsters aren't hard to kill, you'll just die instantly if you don't follow a brain dead pattern of dodging/blocking until they attack and then getting a few attacks in which would normally be fun if it didn't take fifteen minutes to kill any lizard bigger than a raptor. Everything in the game just takes way to fucking long to kill, and that's my problem. Enemies should be challenging to kill, not tedious as fuck.

I was reading where some fights monsters will take 45 minutes to beat. That made me lose a lot of hype I had for the game. Though it will be worth it for the black classic controller and the 500 Wii points.

It mostly focuses on the combat once again, but it shows glimpses of what the player will be doing when not in combat! Hearing "Mother... Time to go!" still sounds awkward...

Also, that article I posted describes to an extent how the game controls. The only thing I can say that I don't like is how you're unable to move while in first person perspective, although, since this game doesn't use the Nunchuck attachment in anyway, I can understand why you wouldn't be able to seeing how awkward it'd be to try to move with the D-pad with the controller turned vertically and the possibility that the D-pad may be used for scanning or something.
