I don't really feel like researching it myself right now, so just wondering if anyone knows off the bat: is there a good way to get third party Xbox 360 game saves and load them onto my 360 hard drive (not a modded system)? For some reason all my game data just cleared out abruptly. I don't really care for the most part -- I can live without all the Sega Superstars Tennis characters unlocked -- but in Resident Evil 5 for example I had unlocked pretty much everything, unlimited ammo for all the weapons I tend to favor and the costumes and the filters and all that, and it took forever. I also don't really want to play through an entire game again just to replay my favorite level(s) if I can avoid it.

I don't care whether there's a free or commercial solution or any of that, I'd just like a relatively painless way to get back my progress more or less.

Have you tried buying a 360 memory card? That's about the only way I can think of doing it.

I have one already. If that's step one, I'm there.

Well, that's where I would start. Have you tried to recover your gamertag with the new hard drive? I don't have much experience with GT recovery, but I know every time we recover my account so I can play on a friend's box, most of my achievements and some saved data is there.

I don't really know about all that, or if you're talking about some Xbox Live thing or whatever (never used it because I'd have to buy the wireless adapter, haha). Basically my hard drive is fine, but for no apparent reason wiped all my game saves. I have no game saves. My accounts are fine (they are on the memory card), it's just the game data. I'd like to get someone else's data and stick in on the HD like nothing happened if it's possible. No new hard drives or anything like that.

Edit: Well okay, here we go: http://www.maxconsol...ead.php?t=91993
