So, I'm thinkin' about dumping some cash into a new flat-screen TV for my room. My current one has a nasty video delay on anything that's not 360 or PS3, and I'd REALLY like to hook up my old Nintendo from time to time and not have a 1-second delay. Anyone know what the cause of this is? A cheap workaround?

Uh, what? Delay?
Is it just like a problem with pixel refresh rate that isn't noticeable when gaming? Is fast motion kind of blurry or does it ghost? I don't understand this.

What is it that makes a complete stranger dive into an icy river to save a solid gold baby? Maybe we'll never know.

My grandparents' Flat-screen had a delay as well. We could tell because they had another TV right on the other side of the same wall so we could hear it. The delay was simply like if you have two TV's going side by side the one will play the content on the channel approximately a second later.
There wasn't any blur or anything, so if Muzzy's is the same way I assume it's a problem with the video output types. The 360 and PS3 use YPbPr, but the NES uses RCA and regular TV uses the cable input thingy that I don't know the name of.
Hey Muzzy, see if your 360 and PS3 get a delay when you hook them up with the RCA endings instead of the YPbPr ones.

By 'delay', I mean when I push the jump button, it takes Sonic about a second to actually jump. There's no blur or anything like that, it's just laggy.
My PS3 and 360 have no RCA outputs. At that cable input thingie is called a coaxial cable, or RF.

Really, because my 360 has RCA and YPbPr outputs coming out of the same cord. Strange, I wonder why your's and mine are different?
