Ahahahahahaha, oh man... That was great! Seriously? You could use their excuse for boycotting the movie with just about anything that wasn't in the movie!

Buy tickets to Avatar in bulk but do not attend showings. An empty theater sends a message

No it doesn't, fuckshit. No one gives two cocks if you see the movie or not. They only care that you give them money.

I know right.

It's as if no-one in a group ever thinks about what their actions are going to do. Some one just says "Oh, hey (Blah blah blah)," and "Oh ya, that's a great idea." or"Why didn't I think of that." Next thing you know you have a new cult demonstrating how every one should pledge their allegiance to "Tongue and Cheek" the all knowing gerbil.

hey guys proof that this is all fak:

Some anonymous dude or dudette , on 16 December 2009, said:

You have to be working with the movie's PR campaign because this has got to be a one of the most brilliant ways to sell tickets.

SOME AD FIRM:
AD GUY: Avatar isn't crossing boundries.
AD GUY 2: Well, it's a geek movie with aliens and mecha. That's a narrow niche of fans right there.
AD GUY: We need to find a way to get people who normally don't watch these types of movies to buy tickets to the show.
AD GUY 2: ....I've got it. How about a protest?
AD GUY: A protest? You mean a boycott?
AD GUY 2: No, a reverse boycott. We start a viral campaign that says the movie is being unfair to...I don't know. Pick any group...
AD GUY: How about gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders?
AD GUY 2: Works for me. Only instead of saying, "Don't buy tickets to this offensive movie. We say, buy tickets but don't show up in protest."
AD GUY: Who would fall for that?
AD GUY2: You'd be surprised.
AD GUY: Okay, fine. Get your best people working on it. If this works, I know P.T. Barnum would be proud of us.

Holy Shit!

This is brilliant. Why don't you use up all of your time, energy and other resources protesting something that is completely irrelevant.

You're like some Jew in Berlin in 1939 holding a sign that says "Seatbelt Laws Now!"

What a waste of fucking time.

I really do hope this is fake, or some kind of elaborate joke. When you open the door to people getting offended for what something doesn't do, then you basically have everyone getting offended over everything.

Which reminds me, I'm officially boycotting SOL because the site doesn't give proper reverence or recognition to arborphiliacs. I am deeply offended by this forum's arrogance and bigotry aimed at all the good, caring people I know who are dedicated practitioners of tree-fucking.

Shame on you, Sonic Online.

The worst part is how they re-appropriated "SILENCE = DEATH". That shit actually means something, so I really hope it's a troll. I don't see how it couldn't be.

And now, due to overwhelming pressure from special interest groups and Hollywood limousine liberals as well as corporate fat cats, I have created a new forum to recognize the diversity of people who post here, and to give them a voice: http://www.sonic-onl...hiliacs-alcove/
What is it that makes a complete stranger dive into an icy river to save a solid gold baby? Maybe we'll never know.

This really means a lot to me and everyone who believes in free tree-love, Sway. I'm glad to see that not everyone on this sorry excuse for a message board is a closed-minded dogmatist. You don't know how close I was to signing up dozens of new accounts and leaving them at 0 posts, because I think an empty forum sends a message. A message that WE WON'T TOLERATE THE HATE.

Just going back to this... This dude, er... Chick... Eh, let's just go with abomination against all sanity and logic, says that we'll all be transgender in the future thanks to evolution. So we have a gay eugenics supporter here. Also, I found myself screaming "EVOLUTION DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY!". Look, I'm fine with gays and all that, but they're never going to be the majority through natural means. That just doesn't work. Especially since it's not genetic, but based on brain chemicals post-conception.

There are few more effective ways to justify your own preferences than by believing that everyone will feel or behave the same way as you someday.

I'm thinking this guy should try and become a martyr for his cause. He'll fail in the whole "being remembered" department, but at least he won't make baby Darwin cry anymore.
