So The White Stripes broke up. I wasn't a really huge fan, but I listened to them a bit awhile back.

Noooooooooooo, I am devastated. :( I'm not sure if The White Stripes or The Black Keys are my favorite band, but that's just how much I liked them.

I really, really hope Jack White will eventually go back to his two-person minimalist punk blues roots, though. To be honest Meg kinda sucks and could be replaced by like anyone, but the band's sound was amazing. The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather are both very good and I like them a lot, but The White Stripes, man, that power and rawness was where it was at for me.

Ah man, that sucks. :( I wasn't the biggest White Stripes fan on the planet, but I did enjoy their music to the extent that a couple of their songs made it onto my iPod. Oh well, maybe I'll check out The Dead Weather...
