Hey, I was just wondering if anyone here has windows 7. Right now I was thinking about getting it, but I was wondering what people think of it. Right now I'm stuck with vista on my pc.

Haven't used it, yet. Like most people, I'm still using XP. If there were a way for me to test it out, I'd look into buying it one of these days if I like it and it doesn't make certain things I like doing impossible or harder than it should be/would be on XP.

It's pretty sweet, although not really a necessary upgrade from Vista IMO. It's probably what Vista should have been.

I'm using it, and I had it pre-ordered a month before it came out. It doesn't seem all that different from Vista SP2 to me.

I had it for a while. I really like the aero peek and other new features involving the taskbar. Other than that, it's nothing too special. I switched back to XP because I like the increased customization on that OS.

If I know almost anything about Windows, I would wait until some sort of SP pack is out for it before getting it.

Sway sums it up nicely. Vista wasn't bad (once you knew how to sidestep its issues) and if you're used to Vista, Windows 7 isn't much different. But there are a few things that I like, but nothing major.

If you get a shot to get Windows 7, get it, but I wouldn't go (far) out of your way for it if you're doing just fine on XP or even Vista.
I'm just asking for trouble, aren't I?
