Seriously this is something I just heard. It seems that a toy version of one of the harry potter broom sticks had gotten taken off the shelves due to many adult people buying them and turning them into vibrators. How sick minded can some people get, anyway tell me what you think about this.

While I normally believe that censorship is a retarded and very bad thing, and that parents watching their kids and responsibly communicating with them about things such as sex and violence is usually the better option, I'm going to have to agree with Marx on this one. There's nothing wrong with sex, or sex education, but if you're under 9 or 10, you really shouldn't know about anything beyond kissing in terms of intimacy. Your brain just isn't mature and developed enough to handle it properly in terms of culture and society at that point in time. While violence and sex are in a human's genetic knowledge, the capability of understanding of violence in relation to society (as in, when it's right, when it's not right, why it isn't right in those situations, and so forth) doesn't really happen until 4 or 5 and sexual understanding doesn't happen until much later 9 or so at the least. Masturbation should be taught as nothing but a strict no until they're ready to understand it.

Also, note that "understanding" does not mean "capable of experiencing" they're still on different levels of maturity and development.

The irony is that banning that toy was basically a futile effort in the long run. If I've learned one thing from the internet, it's that anything—and I mean anything—can be used as a sex toy if the person is horny and imaginative enough.

Naturally humans were supposed to reproduce around 12, when both the male and female were able to. Because of the short life spans. And now most 12 year olds think it's 'icky'. Haha.

I knew about sex since I was 5 or 6, and I think I turned out normal. Except for the obsession with Nazism, I'm pretty normal.

Humans also matured much more rapidly during that time. They weren't allowed to play nearly as much and be what we now know as "children" because they weren't able to survive if they didn't work and help the family. Because kids have time to play and be much more carefree nowadays they mature much slower and differently than those of the past. There's even things in people now that generally never mature compared to people in the past just because of the way they grow with the society.

So no, I'm not wrong in thinking that 12 is way too damn young to have kids.

To be honest I Did not know anything about this piece of news until some guy mentioned it in one of my college English classes. What I meant by sick is the fact that somehow they had to have been doing it in public to get caught, and the guy in my class mentioned it was adults.It would not surprise me if kids were trying it to.I agree with some of what Nights Noob was saying but I might add that in todays time kids and people no longer really have a set maturity age,However I do think that talking to kids about sexual activities should possibly wait until about 12 or 13.
