That's the problem with the media. How can we make up our minds when the media is far from unbiased, and at times has no interest in representing the truth, or correcting themselves when they get it wrong? It's fine to say we're making up our "own minds" but based on what? The lies, and more lies, all flying about?

It's an interesting read. I even heard the mis-translation being brought up by republicans during the presidential debates. I was humoured. I don't blame people for not knowing about the mis-translation: no-one wants to talk about it.

All politics aside... If I was a kid in school right now..I wouldn't want to hear some stupid speech. I'd Much Rather be at home watching cartoons or playing games.

Now to add the politics back in...

I tend to watch various news anchors and opinion shows for the facts.. then I form my own opinion. I consider myself conservative.. but I am neither a Democrat or Republican.

It would be nice if some third party made a site or something with just the facts on it. No spin, No opinion Just facts. Facts that would let people form thier own un-biased opinions... but that'll never happen.

This is why I have stopped watching pretty much all newscasts.
