Unless he's gotten worse in the past couple of months, I haven't watched his show in a while. I highly doubt it though.

That's just freaking low, and all the other channels are just looking at it with candy glasses because Kennedy was A:dieing, and B: a Democrat when he did it.

I did say all our media channels suck, didn't I? FoxNews is just particularly bad in my view, for reasons such as this case:

Glenn Beck is a douche, though. For instance, the health care debate: a few years ago he was talking about how "the healthcare experience nearly kills you." A few years later when getting on to FoxNews, during this health care debate, his story is: "why would you want to ruin the best health care system in the world"?
Seriously, our news channels just plain disgust me. None of them strike me as being in any way reliable.
(PS. I think that was Glenn Beck anyway, pretty certain).

I can agree with you on that. While I know the constitution is meant to protect free speech, I also think it is incredibly dangerous (and against the spirit of it) to present something as an informative news program when it may actually contain a series of lies/mistruths/misrepresentations. It worries me a lot.

Also, Requiem has obviously not watched Fox News. His view of it makes me LOL. Not quite ROTFLMAO, but LOL all the same.
I'm ever-so curious as to where you get that shit, though. And please don't try to describe Beck, O'Reilly, or Hannity's shows as hard news programs. I can't take the damage to my spleen that laughter will cuase.

Why am I laughing? Because I know the truth, my friend. I watch his show. I am now going to explain a few things to you, and in doing so, demonstrate to you why you look so ridiculous to me right now that I cannot help but act like an ass. It's just too funny:
First and foremost, Requiem is quoting a paraphrase he barely remembers. I would love to see a clip. Meanwhile, Beck has stated on his show that America's healthcare system is far from perfect, but that Obama's vision for it would be just plain horrible. It sucks, but compared to the rest of the world, it's damn fine. Now, unless you can prove anything you're citing, you're just going to look stupid.
Me? Being someone who IS into politics (which should tell you right there things aren't going to look good for you) I can back up what I say! For instance, did you know that the majority of what Glenn Beck says and does on his show is intentionally over-the-top for the purposes of entertainment? Did you know the man also does stand-up comedy? Betcha didn't. While he's serious about his beliefs he states, when he starts, say, dousing someone in fake gasoline on his show and dangling a match over them to illustrate a point, you're obviously being given a performance, here.
And unlike yourself, at least the man forms his opinions based on facts:
Quote
Is it un-American, hateful or outrageous to sincerely and honestly ask this question when the communist president of Venezuela says that?
And in the man's own words:
Quote
Seems reasonable to me. If you're going to lob insults, all I ask is that you sprinkle in some sources and evidence in there, as well.

Though I have a sneaking suspicion that you've never actually watched his show...

You can't suggest the picture painted here isn't slightly inconsistent.
What interests me particularly in the first clip is he mentions military personal. I was under the impression they often got private health care, not from the same hospitals as he does but through their own health care system. It's government run and has been described by some as the best in the world. But that's as far into the healthcare debate as I'm going: this isn't a topic about the healthcare debate, and I'm not suggesting I'm for or against changes.
The legal case I linked to in another post also seems to set a precedent for the style of shows these are. Other news channels have run fake stories in the past too, though. When lots of people no doubt look to these shows for sources of news, it still concerns. Nothing like inaccurate news reporting.
By the way, just to digress off the main point of topic, who was it that called for Israel to be wiped off the map?

In any case, I have a feeling Glenn isn't gonna care, no matter what Napoleon says, the damn Corsican. But what I don't get is why everyone hates him so much. He's no where near as bad as any of his fellow workers, and calling Obama communist is nothing new. This seems to really be an American thing, I'm thinking, because even us Liberals often respect and agree with Conservatives on many points. Of course, our Conservatives are more like your Democrats.
Still, this really doesn't matter, and will probably matter even less if Obama does pass the bill. He might get a spike in death threats, or shit like that, but people are not really going to do anything. In fact, with how human history goes, the opposition is going to be painted as ignorant savages while everyone who agreed will be "warriors of freedom! *hugglebox*" or some stupid shit like that within like 20 years. Vice versa for if the opposition wins out on this.
In the end, no one is going to remember some shitty news anchor who talked about "Comrade Obama" or even the ones who kissed his ass.

To say something about the actual topic at hand, I think it's hilarious and amazing how much of an effect a group of people can have on the overall dynamic of the internets. I mean, the fact that the site rose to #4 on Reddit the day after it was posted and the Google search results really speak for themselves. I dislike the faked mugshot and police report though, it seems like that takes away from the message they're trying to convey through this attack.

Eh, that's kinda life. I wish people wouldn't push their beliefs on their kids, though. God-forbid they actually get an inspirational speech from *gasp* a democrat.
