Any instruments?

Personally I play the guitar and the piano.
I haven't had lessons for either of them, but I've been playing the guitar for about five years and the piano for about two.
I can read sheet music for a guitar, since it's relatively simple and I used to be in an orchestra in middle school, so it gave me a general idea of how to read sheet music, but I can't read it for the piano.

I also used to play the viola and orchestra bass, but those days are forgotten.
I can still play the instruments, but I don't usually.

Lately I've been really into alot of classical guitar.
I've been playing "Dee" by Randy Rhoads all night.

Anyone else have musical experience?

I'm trying to teach myself guitar, but keep putting it off. I used to play the clarinet in middle school, but that's about it.

I play nothing. But I would like to learn music in the first place... any suggestions?

If you want my opinion, books/online lessons/etc. are never sufficient.
I sat and taught myself without help.

Anything you'd like to learn to play in particular?

Nope... just would like to know music. As in notes, octaves, and other basic stuff. I really don't know anything past what I said.

Took piano lessons exactly once as a kid, said "Fuck this shit!" and lost all interest in playing a musical instrument.

I have been able to play violin once, but now, not going too well. As for drums, not good either. But hell, I'm better than nothing. I hope.
