On another mentioned note, Shadow and Rouge were the best new characters since Knuckles. And there haven't been any as good since.

I'm with Keno_the_glitch on this one! His ESP makes him the best. He can pwn sonic, shadow and knuxs at the same time, just grab and drown them. And in super form. Watch out. Hes so great they can't give him an other form! It woudn't be fair for the others!

I'm going to ignore the fact that this thread came from last year, not be a sarcastic asshole like I usually would, and say that Emerl is the Sonic-verse's version of DBZ's Cell, to an extent, and the DCU's Amazo. He's more like Amazo since all Amazo has to do is look at a being to copy their abilities and attributes, while Cell needs to make physical contact with or absorb anything whose abilities and attributes he doesn't already share in order to gain them if he doesn't/can't learn to do something the good ol' fashioned way, making him far easier to defeat, although Cell was pretty fucking hard to defeat in the first place. Then there's also the whole needing to absorb the androids bullshit, but let's just pretend that I'm only talking about Perfect Cell.

Therefore, Emerl is the strongest character. Argue how he was eventually destroyed, but if the story were being logical, we'd've seen Emerl pull what Amazo did in Justice League Unlimited: Beat the living fuck out of everybody, including the "strongest" being on the planet, with their own powers and anything else he picked up along the way.

Man, fuck that piece of shit, Sonic X! Unlike Cream and Cheese, Gohan, who is part Saiyan, became the strongest being on the entire planet! Plus, I said he was more like Amazo and Amazo was never defeated, even when facing an entire army of superheroes that included fucking Superman!

Also, in Sonic Battle, it could copy multiple abilities at a time. I don't know how Sonic was able to beat it without turning super since it had all seven emeralds, but Sonic Advance 3 seemed to correct this by requiring Sonic to go super and team up with Eggman. This makes no sense, however, since, until the end of the game, he is nowhere near as dangerous as he was in Sonic Battle nor, as far as I know, does he retain his ability to mimic attributes just by observing them.
