[Streak the Blue Racer]

...Well, sort of.

This was some challenge I made to myself, where I just take any song I'm listening to, and make a short fanfic out of it. Kind of dumb, but...well, HERE'S THIS.

It's also pretty short. Only 600 words long, basically.

If there was a God, then He probably hated him. But he knew the reason why. There was a demon inside of him, and it wanted out.

Kill all the people who betrayed you...kill all who beseeched you...no one here wanted you here...now show all of them that you don't want them here either. This is your world. YOU'RE the god!

It spoke to him again. He never considered himself a killer. He never considered himself evil. But the demon was right. Everyone never liked him, loved him, never wanted him to be here.

This was true ever since he was born. His love was killed, simply because they considered him "dangerous". A "weapon of mass destruction". He was locked away for fifty years, the only thing building up his rage.

It was time to bring it all down. He loaded his gun, seeing the soldiers were coming.

You just wait for it...don't attack just yet...

The soldiers were marching. Marching all in line. Such perfect little pigs for the slaughter he thought. His bloodied eyes could only stare at them as they came closer, readying their guns for fire. Sweat began to drench him as he grunted, the anger seething from him. These bastards took his life away. But he obeyed the demon. It was not yet time.

"Shadow the hedgehog, your tyranny ends now! We're giving you a chance to surrender, or else your life will be taken! Surrender or die. It's your choice, Shadow..." The general glared at him, his soldiers aiming their weapons at him.

Delusional. Shadow may have done a few wrongs in his past, but he knew he never threatened this general's family. All the shit that came out of his mouth was false. He doubted that he would let him surrender.

Here's your chance! Do it!

BANG. A soldier was shot in the heart, immediately killing him. The general could only point and yell, "FIRE!"

Shadow hid behind a vehicle, the bullets making holes in it, the glass almost falling on him. As soon as the soldiers had to load, he fired rapidly again. Several other soldiers fell to the ground, dead.

Darkness filled him. Made him whole. It was as if he found the answer that he was looking for for fifty years. He WAS a weapon. He WAS nothing but evil. Nothing but the destroyer of human life. He dashed out from behind the vehicle, all rationality lost. He no longer cared if he died. The only thing he wanted was the human race to suffer. Suffer for everything he went through.

So many were standing, then crumpled before him. The wall was burning down as he saw the blood on the asphalt. Even when he was shot, he still ravaged throughout the army.

Pathetic humans, he thought. The only weapons they brought were their guns and their hearts. Nothing more. Both were ineffective to him. Although he was bleeding, he still was breathing and killing.

The road was empty except for the fifty dead bodies and the general, who was trapped. He cowered, his breath becoming heavy and shuddering. Who was this beast? Why was he still alive? Why was he born with such a vendetta? There was nothing he could do to save himself now. All thought was lost in this insane creature.

"You claim you were cousins with the Robotniks...if that's so, then why command your future swine to kill Maria? I never was a part of you..." he hissed, loading his rifle.

"I-...I-...I simply wanted to protect mankind...I simply wanted to protect my fellow man from...you..." he whispered, his voice becoming smaller as Shadow aimed the gun at his head.

"Well, you failed, didn't you? I realize who I am now...I am Shadow the hedgehog, the angel of destruction! The ultimate life form! But does this matter to you? No, because you see, my friend..."

His fingers became tighter around the trigger.

"...you're dead."

Bang.
