Summary

When unfortunate events cause Sonic and his friends to be pulled into a new adventure, they find themselves in more trouble than they have ever been! Finding out that Shadow had survived the ARK fall and had been forced to join Dr. Eggman in a power trip is only half of it! They also run into new characters, one being Sonic's younger long lost sister! Now Sonic and the rest, along with his new friends, have to race to collect the seven Chaos Emeralds before Eggman and Shadow do. Throughout this whole incident, Sonic believed that he owed it to Shadow to at least find out what had made him join Eggman and maybe even help him reconsider his mistake in joining forces with the mad scientist. Sonic and Amy's relationship grows to new levels as well as the others. (Sonic X Amy, Tails X Cream, Knuckles X Rouge)

Authors note: Listed below are new ages for the Sonic characters. This story takes place five years after the "Sonic Adventure 2" events happened. I have bumped up some of the characters ages incorrectly to fit this stories needs!

Sonic the Hedgehog age 20 - Miles Tails Prower age 16 - Knuckles the Echidna age 22 - Amy Rose age 18 - Shadow the Hedgehog age 55 - Rouge the Bat age 24 - Dr. Eggman age 50 - Cream the rabbit age 15.

Chapter 1: Mind Tricks

Eggman grunted with annoyance as he stomped and pushed his way through a large forest that is located a few miles away from City Hall. He was looking for a Chaos Emerald that his chaos radar had picked up a while ago from his hidden base. He planned to search for the seven chaos emeralds way before the space colony, known as the ARK, had even touched the earth yesterday night. Just because he had to literally make himself cooperate with Sonic and his annoying friends to save the Earth, did not mean that he was going to dance around like an idiot and join the "Sonic Heroes"! Eggman gagged at that mere though! He simply helped save the Earth from destruction because well...how will he create his Eggman empire if there was no planet to built and rule upon?

As Eggman continued his search for the Chaos Emerald, he suddenly tripped over a rather stiff figure on the mossy grounds of the forest. Luckily, he instantly caught his footing before he went tumbling down to the ground. As he got himself straighten out, he eyed whatever object had dared to almost inflict pain upon him. As soon as he saw just what had tripped him, his eyes widen with absolute awe. There, right below him, was the extremely damaged form of one of the hedgehogs who had previously saved the world. The black and red striped hedgehog known as Shadow the Hedgehog! But because of the critical state the hedgehog was in, his red stripes were barely visible. Eggman knew that Shadow was alive because of the ever so lightly breathing he released once in a while. How any individual could withstand a fall from the Earth's atmosphere, at top speed mind you, was extremely beyond his knowledge! But then again, Shadow was not just an ordinarily hedgehog. He was created by Eggman's intelligent grandfather, known as Professor Gerald Robotnik! Eggman hastily decided to discard his search for the Chaos Emerald for the time being and bring Shadow back to his hidden base to heal his battered form. He grinned as new plans began to form in his diabolical mind

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

As Eggman stepped foot into his base, he hurriedly headed to his laboratory and placed Shadow's burnt form into a specially made healing tube that he calls the "Egg-Healer". How it worked was simple. As soon as an individual is placed into the Egg-Healer, the tube is flooded with specially medicated water that healed all wounds in approximately five hours. Time varied depending on the state the individual was in. Unfortunately, Eggman had other plans then just healing the badly battered hedgehog. You see, he had put a metal curved plate on the black hedgehog's head. The plate had a thick mixture of wires, which are all connected to one of Eggman's master computers.

"I'm willing to bet that when Shadow awakens, he won't be willing to cooperate with me," Eggman said to himself thoughtfully as he was typing away on the master computer's keyboard. After a couple of strikes of keys, a bunch of video images appeared on the huge screen above the master computer. Eggman was staring at all of Shadow's memories! He began scrolling down to almost the second to last set of video imagines and proceeded to quickly scan through them for useful information.

"Hmm…" Eggman pondered, "What was Shadow's most precious memory that would make him discard the goody-two- shoe side of him..."

Eggman continued to highlight through the parts of Shadow's memories until he landed on the memories of Maria's promise. Eggman grinned nastily as he watched Maria's emotional display on the screen and "accentually" pressed the big red button marked as "DELETE".

However...

"Error, cannot delete…" The Master Computer's voice stated.

Eggman typed in "Why?" and pressed enter.

"Reasons unknown…." The Computer responded.

Eggman sighed with frustration as he typed in "What can I do to fix this?"

"You are the one in control here, not I. I am just a computer, simply fallowing orders…"

Eggman glared at the computer as if it could see him. He started to ponder for a few minutes and then come up with another plan just as malicious as the first.

"Hoho! If I can not delete this part of the memory, then I'll just make him believe that what Maria said was to rule the world, not help it!" He said as he once again typed away on the computer.

When he finished typing, he pressed enter and the computer did not seem to have problems installing the new information into Shadow's brain. He smiled and stretched with complete satisfaction at his work.

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

Shadow was on a bunk bed resting, after five plus hours off being contained in the Egg-Healer. After several minutes, Shadow slowing began to awaken, only to see blur.

"Maria...? Is that you?" Shadow asked as he stared at Eggman with a dreamy expression.

"Yes" Eggman responded in the most girlish voice he could muster.

"Really…"Shadow asked as his eyes widened, though his vision was still blurry.

"No idiot! It's me! Dr. Eggman!" Eggman spat while smacking Shadow off the head.

"Ouch!" Shadow half yelled as he rubbed the spot Eggman had attacked him on. When he blinked a few times, he was finally able to see more clearly, "Wh-where am I?"

"You are in my base…" Eggman answered firmly.

Suddenly, Shadow eyes widened as memories hit him like a tsunami wave.

"Maria…"Shadow mumbled as he digested the incoming memories.

Eggman began to become a little worried thinking that maybe the memories he had tampered with didn't do the trick.

"Maria...I broke your promise..." Shadow stated with raw sadness, "Why did I rescue the world yesterday when all you wanted was revenge on the people of earth and complete world domination?"

Eggman, at this point, was astonished! He did not expect Shadow to react like this. Eggman began thinking maybe he over did it. He did not tell the computer to make Shadow regret saving the Earth did he?

"Hell! I'm so anger right now, that I'm about to blow up the world this instant!" Shadow shouted instantly with rage as he rose to his feet.

'Yep, I over did it…'Eggman thought as he became more nervous, 'But maybe I could persuade him to change his mind…'

"Yeah! I'm about to get one of them big nukes and blow this-"

"Hey I got a better idea!" Eggman cut in.

Shadow started at Eggman with irritation. How dare he interrupt his ranting like that? "Go on…" he replied with interest.

"You and me should work together to complete Maria's wish for world domination!" Eggman shouted with intensity.

Shadow thought for a second before responding, "Naaa. Blowing up the world sounds much better-" Shadow started.

Eggman was now really worried. He might have just made Shadow in to a lunatic!

"But-"

Eggman's hope rose up again at the word "but".

"-Now that I think about it, you are right. I could still fulfill Maria's wish..."Shadow finished.

"So, you'll do it?" Eggman asked with hope.

"Hmmm, yeah…sure... why not…" Shadow said. He sounded a little unsure though.

"MUWHAHAHAHA EXCELLENT!" Eggman shouted.

FIVE YEARS LATER

Ever since Shadow and Eggman had formed an alliance, they had made many attempts to achieve complete world domination, but none were successful because of a certain blue hedgehog and his friends. When Sonic and the rest of his friends found out that Shadow was alive, they were surprised and trilled, but also curious as to way in blue blazes would Shadow start working with Eggman again. Sonic had asked the black hedgehog once in a fight, but all he had gotten as a reply was "I wish for absolute world domination, that was her wish, so now it is mines to fulfill." After that day, Sonic never asked again, but he vowed to himself that he would one day find out what Eggman had done to Shadow because the black and red hedgehog's behavior was certainly odd afterhe helped save the world. His other friends assumed that Shadow maybe just helped save the world for the same reason Eggman did; to basically have a world to rule over and, of course, to save his own butt. However, our blue hero knew better than that. There was something done to Shadow around the time he was found alive and he aimed to find out what it is. It was now five years later and Sonic had made no progress in finding any lead that would explain to him where the black hedgehog went wrong. The others have given up, but our blue hero still had faith in Shadow.

About four years ago, the government had decided that Sonic the Hedgehog's heroic duties should get rewarded. So the president had decided that Sonic should get enough money to last him his entire life time. Sonic really wanted to decline that offer, but his friends had literally, almost kicked his butt for even thinking of doing such thing. Sonic was never a money person to begin with, so all he really used his money for was for the daily things that he needed to live comfortably. There was only one thing that he had bought that was extremely expensive as soon as he received the cash, and that was a five story tall mansion complete with 10 rooms in each floor. Every one of his friends had thought that the mansion was completely ridiculous! Who needs fifty rooms in a home? The only people who lived in that huge mansion of his were Amy, Tails, Cream, and himself. So why Sonic wanted an extra forty-eight rooms was completely beyond them. Not to mention that getting lost all the time was really infuriating.

In these past five years, Sonic and his friends have changed a lot, as well as his enemies. Sonic the Hedgehog has increased in height and has longer quills that touchdown almost to his waist. He also wore a pair of blue baggy jeans and grind-able white sneakers.

About three years ago, Sonic had decided to finally confess to Amy that he actually really liked her. He developed strong feeling for her almost as soon as she began to mature from her "Sonic-fan-girl-issues". Running away from the pink hedgehog was absolutely not an option, in his opinion. He loved having his Amy all over him! Especially now since she looked stunning. Her normally short quills were a few inches below her collarbones. Her normal dressing style was completely discarded for a brighter red tight shirt, along with tight bell-bottom jeans and a pair of white and red sneakers.

One thing that really had Sonic completely astonished was how much his best buddy, Miles "Tails" Prower, has changed. Where did he go wrong with that fox? I mean how do you go from being a complete nerdy mechanic, to a complete horny perverted individual? Though he still showed those mechanical qualities, Sonic swears sometimes that his best buddy had run away and this was a whole new person. Along with his personality change also came his appearance change. His two tails had increased in length, thus also increasing his flight abilities. He now wore a slightly tight white tank top along with a pair of loosely fitted jeans and a pair of white and yellow sneakers.

And then we have Cream the Rabbit. You all remembered that innocent little cute rabbit that was so polite and well - just very sweet to everybody! I mean who could forget her? Well nobody would believe that this once sweet naive rabbit is now a completely sexually energized energizer bunny! I mean dear god, this rabbit is so disgustingly perverted that the only individual that could possibly be interested in her is well…Tails of course. Off went the cute looking school uniform, for a new set of revealing clothes. She wore a super skin tight pink shirt that had the words, "You think I've been a bad bunny lately?" integrated on it, and a short white skirt that barely reached her ankles. She also had a pair of glittering bright pink slip-on shoes. This horny rabbit would always seem to "accidentally" drop something on the floor in order to just give everybody the full moon. It didn't help that if Tails so happened to be around the area, he would spank her bottom. Once again, Sonic had asked himself just where he went wrong with said fox.

Knuckles the Echidna was the same old loner he had always been. Sonic in fact asked Knuckles if he would like to live at his mansion, but the red echidna declined saying he liked living in his created hut near the Master Emerald. His appearance did not change much other than his dreadlocks length and his height. Knuckles refused to wear any type of clothing other than his red, green and yellow sneakers. Sonic had wished that Knuckles would loosen up and come to his mansion to hang out for a while, but he simply never did. Sometimes during Sonic's monthly visits, he would find the echidna blushing madly and completely covered with bright pink lipstick marks. Sonic had asked his long time friend from whom was he getting those kisses from, even thought he had an idea, but Knuckles would just always change the subject.

Looks like good old Knuckie had a soft spot for a certain sexy bat girl.

Chapter 2: Kidnapped


Sonic was currently lounged adjacent to his room window, with one leg hanging loosely on the ledge. 'Morning time can be so boring sometimes,' He thought to himself, followed by a sigh. He hated days that began like this! As a matter of fact, the past few weeks had been just like this! Absolutely nothing has been happening. He hated to admit it, but he kind of wished the good old Egghead would do something to lighten up the mood. He enjoyed saving the world and getting all the praise from the citizens' of City Hall and people all around the world. There was nothing more satisfying than hearing the people chant his name after he did a good deed...well except when Amy Rose chants his name with joy and excitement of course.

"Sonic..."

Sonic turned towards his pink hedgehog at the mention of his name and noticed that she was staring at him with half lidded eyes. She had woken up when she felt that Sonic's warmth was no longer surrounding her figure. He nodded towards her, signifying that he was listening.

"Why are you up so early? It's eight in the morning..." Amy questioned, followed shortly by a soft yawn.

"Heh...I just ain't tired anymore..." Came the blue hedgehog's reply as he hopped of the window's ledge and strode towards Amy.

He gazed at Amy with glistering bright green eyes that always seemed to enchant her to the point that she lost track of just how long she had been staring back. Sonic chuckled softly as he extended his right hand towards the entranced pink hedgehog and tilted her head upwards by placing his hand under her chin. Sonic proceeded to pull Amy into a fierce but passionate kiss, making Amy melt with pleasure. Before Amy knew it, Sonic had already turned away from her.

"Why don't you get out of bed and get yourself ready to join me downstairs for breakfast?" Sonic began as he sat off the bed, "We can then hang out at our beach," he finished as he left his room and headed down the very long set of stairs that would lead him to the kitchen.

"Oh that hedgehog..." Amy groaned out with frustration as she tossed the bed covers aside and got out of the bed, "He always gets me all worked up just to run away..."

As she made her way to the bathroom, she mumbled incoherent words before closing the door.


X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X


As Sonic arrived down stairs, the first thing that greeted him was the disturbing sight of a male fox and a female rabbit making out on the kitchen table. They were at least fully clothed unlike a few weeks ago when they were half naked from the waist up...but that's another story.

"Tails!" Sonic shouted with irritation, making the fox and rabbit break their lip lock and look at him with "innocent" smiles. "What did I tell you about making out on the table?"

"That it was okay if we were fully clothed?" came the fox's smart ass reply, which earned him a heated glare from his friend.

Sonic rubbed his forehead with frustration at the fox's lack of maturity, "Tails..." He warned, making said fox jolt off Cream, "Get yourself and that rabbit of yours off the damned table before I shove you both off!"

Not wanting to deal with Sonic's fury, Tails and Cream hurriedly complied to his request and sat properly on the nearby chairs.

After a few more killer glances from the blue hedgehog, he proceeded to enter the kitchen and begin to get things out of the fridge to start breakfast. That's right, he was going to cook! Sonic had so much time lately to himself that he took some cooking lessons from his favorite pink hedgehog.

"So have you guys eaten anything yet?"

"Nope!" replied the fox and rabbit simultaneously with eagerness.

"Figures since you two don't seem to think with your heads at all..." Sonic trailed off as he slapped the bacon on the pan to fry and then started scrambling the eggs that he cracked open seconds ago. Cream and Tails just grinned innocently once again.

Shortly after, Sonic placed everything he cooked on the table for everybody to get their grub on! Not long after, Amy came down the stairs and joined the trio.

The four heroes are now relaxing at Sonic's own personal beach. Amy, who was lying on a slanted chair alongside Sonic, was wearing a pink and white dotted two-piece bikini, along with a pair of pink sunglasses that are shaded black and are fashionably shaped like stars. Sonic was just wearing a blue pair of boxers and blue sunglasses. Tails wore a pair of loose shorts that had his name crafted all over it and Cream wore her peach colored two-piece bikini that was covered with small white bunny designs. They were both lying down on a big orange blanket that they had placed on the sandy ground.

"I'm bored…" Cream complained, followed by a long sigh.

"Me too…" Tails agreed, with the same tone.

Both of them haven't been doing much lately either. Ever since Tails and Cream became a couple, he become a little lazy and stopped making the advanced technologies he used to love so much. At least that's what our blue hero thought. But the fact remained that his tornado two was sitting in their garage, collecting dust with absolutely no improvement what so ever. He did tell Sonic that he was currently working on a brand new invention that would blow his mind. When Sonic had asked if he could take a look at it, Tails just shook his head no, saying that he wanted to show him when he was at least almost completed with it. This all happened like a month ago, so he already knew that Sonic didn't believe he was actually working on anything. But he is and so, in the mean time, he was going to reveal another thing later on today that he created. It could end up being quite useful for Sonic to use when he's in a tight spot. Knowing Sonic like he did, he knew that Sonic would become extremely excited as soon as he saw what his new invention was.

Cream shifted roughly in the fox's arms, so she could bring him out of his deep thoughts. Just like the rabbit expected, Tails took the bait and looked at her with a questionable glaze.

"What is it?" Tails asked but instantly froze upon seeing the look the rabbit was giving him .

Cream stared at him with burning lustful eyes, which caused the two tailed fox to shiver with delight.

Cream grounded herself against Tails roughly, making him shudder with pure pleasure.

"Why - Why do you do this to me?" Tails managed to gasped out as he rolled his eyes at the pleasure he felt in his loins.

"Because it's soooo fun..." Cream bit her lips with want which then was followed by a sexy soft giggle as she continued to instigating her fox. "And…" she shoved Tails forward, thus causing him to flop against the ground. She then proceeded to climb on top of the still shivering fox. "I like my little witty fox-boy very much..." She finished ever so softly and proceeded to-

"Ohhh hell no!" Shouted a certain blue hedgehog, hence making Cream instantly jolt off the incredibly aroused fox.

Sonic glared at Tails and Cream, as they gave him their typical innocent grin.

"Tails, Cream, stop doing that behind my back damn it! I really don't want to turn around and see that crap! Is it so hard for you two to go to your rooms?" Sonic inquired with a frown and his hands on his hips.

"Will it help if I say it was Cream who instigated me?" Tails replied with a question of his own, thus receiving a nasty glare from his rabbit.

"No, but answer me this Tails…" Sonic began as he was preparing himself for the next question he is going to ask his long time friend. He feared that he was not going to like the answer to his question. "I know you both have been make out from the times I caught you both at it...but…did you guys go all the way?" he spat out right in the end.

Amy tipped her sunglasses down and looked at the two young teenagers as she too was intrigued to know the answer to her hedgehog's question.

Tails gulped, but thought thoroughly before he said something that might anger the blue hedgehog even more than he already was. Cream just blushed a deep shade of red. "Y-Yeah….and before you ask, yes more than once..." Tails whispered at the end.

"Damn…" Sonic cursed as Amy sighed with disappointment. "Tails, you better have been using protection or I swear to god I will-"

"-Don't worry I have been! " Tails cut in quickly, "Never forget.." he added

"Tails! What the heck has happened to you!" Sonic hollered loudly, making Tails flinch. "You know what... don't answer that…" he faltered as he turned away from the fox with disappointment. "Just be careful…"He finished as he then made his way back to Amy and flopped down on the slanted chair beside her.

Tails flattened himself on the soft sand with a frown. Cream stood beside Tails with a bothersome look on her face. "Tails…. I'm really sorry…" she said softly, with her now downcast eyes.

Tails's left ear puckered up making Cream turn her attention towards him. The two tailed fox then sighed, starting to feel disappointed in himself. "Sonic's right..."

Cream stared at him with questionable eyes, "Really?"

"Yeah," Came the fox's reply, "I have been acting ridiculously for a long time now..."

"Y-Your kidding right?" Cream asked with disbelief.

"No...I have to stop acting like a childish teenage and act like my age..." Tails focused at the bright blue sky for a few minutes before then looking directly at his beautiful rabbit with complete seriousness written on his face.

"Cream..."

"Yeah?"

"Let's go to our room so we could finished what we started!" Tails said as he broke into a wide grin.

"Wow…you really had me there for a second with your determined look!"

"Heh heh…" Tails scratched behind his furry head with a cheesy grin.

The morning came and went and before they knew it, it was past noon time. Sonic opened his eyes and immediately shut them back down when the sun's ray hit him directly. Apparently, he had fallen into a heavy sleep without him noticing because the pink hedgehog was nowhere near him anymore. Sonic smiled warmly when he spotted her near the beach's water surface, looking at the horizon ahead. The wind was blowing her quills softly back and forth as the sun's light was hitting her firm frame, which made her look completely stunning. He always loved staring at her while she was in her own world.

Sonic's concentration on Amy was broken when he heard a female laughter nearby. Tails and Cream were talking among themselves and apparently, Tails had said something that made the rabbit brake into a fit of giggles.

"Tails, Cream, I'm going to go order pizza for lunch right now, does that sound good to you both?" Sonic asked towards the end.

"Yeah sure..." Tails answered for Cream and himself as he then continued to talk about whatever they were talking about.

Sonic knew that Amy would be alright with pizza today because she hasn't had it for months now.

As Sonic entered his mansion, he stopped instantly as he saw a half eaten jelly filled donut on the floor. He growled something that sounded like "Tails" and then proceeded to picks up the half piece of donut and toss it in the garbage can before making his way towards the phone on the kitchen counter. He dialed the phone number for his favorite pizza place and waited for a while before he finally got an answer.

"Thank you for calling Pizza World, where we make the greatest tasting pizza, state your order please." A male voice said from the phone's receiver.

"Yeah, I would like a-"

"Ahhhh! Help! Sonnniiccc!" a voice he knew very well shouted at the top of her lungs.

Our blue hero instantly dropped the phone and bolted off towards the source of the scream. As he was almost out the mansion's entrance, he believed god wasn't on his side because he ended up slipped on the remaining jelly that had been left behind from the donut he picked up just moments ago. He ended up landing flat on his back, on the hard concrete floor with a loud thud.

"Damn! Why didn't I clean the rest of that crap up!" Sonic growled with frustration as he stroked his back to ease his pain and quickly flipped back upon his feet and then broke to a sprint towards the exit.

"The hell…." Sonic whispered with confusion evident in his voice as the first thing he saw was a tear filled Cream tending a certain unconscious two tailed fox on the sandy ground.

Sonic hurriedly headed towards Cream and question her while also looking around. "What happened here? And where is Amy!" he demanded.

Cream just sniffled softly as tears continued to stream down her now puffy eyelids.

"Answer me Cream!" He demanded once again with worry and fear in his eyes.

Cream sniffled a few more times before beginning to speak, "I-I'm n-not completely sure!" Cream then paused because a rather powerful hiccup burst out of her, "One s-second I was talking to Tails and then the next I was shoved down towards the ground! By the time I had gotten up, I already saw Tails down and out! and Amy was..." She couldn't finish her last words because her hysterical cries had prevented her from doing so.

However, Sonic didn't need to hear the last word to understand what the rabbit wanted to tell him.

"Gone...just gone..."

Well they are not of course copy writed! But I DID make them up! What does that have to do with how the story is? At least say you didn't like it or what you didn't like about it or what you liked.

1: Hedgehogs act like they're human. Not once in there did I see 'Sonic curls up into a spiky ball and pisses himself'
2: That somehow your normal posts lack the grammar of that fanfic.
3: Fancharacters
4: Animals making out.
5: Its a fanfic

Although, It did have good grammar, at least. Not perfect, but whatever. Anyways, I wouldn't have said any of that not-very-helpful criticism until you asked.

Chapter 3: Of White and Purple


Sonic tossed and turned as he snapped his eye lids open for what felt like the hundredth time this morning. It is seven in the morning and he hadn't been able to get any sleep at all with his consistent thoughts of his now missing pink hedgehog nagging him. After he attempted a few more times to fall back to sleep, Sonic sighed with frustration. It wasn't happening was it? He growled with annoyance and shoved the bed sheets to the side roughly as he then headed to the bathroom, deciding that a nice warm shower would clear his mind a bit.

As the warm water hit him from the shower sprinkler, he sighed with a bit of content. Unfortunately, it didn't last long before his thoughts soon drifted towards Amy again. Curse it all! He just could not believe that he had let that happen to her. Ever since he and Amy had become a couple, he became more protective towards her because he knew that his number one nemesis would use this knowledge to his advantage one of these days. Sonic wasn't stupid. He didn't suspect who did it! He knew that Eggman and Shadow were behind this kidnapping! He only prayed to god that they don't harm her in anyway.

After the blue hedgehog got out of the shower, he proceeded to dry himself off with his blue towel and then headed out back to his room to get dressed. He only put on a blue pair of loose pants that he usually wore when he wasn't planning to go out anytime soon. He headed down the stairs deciding that he needed to do something to get his mind off his problems for the current time being.

As he reached the last steps of stairs, he did a double take as he saw that Tails was sitting on one of the chairs near the kitchen table, all in his lonesome.

"Hey..." Sonic began as he approached the two tailed fox, but got no response, "Tails?"

The mentioning of his name got the fox's attention, "Y-yeah, what is it?"

"What are you doing up so early in the morning?" Sonic inquired.

"Hmm, I could ask you the same thing..." come the fox's response.

"Heh, that's easy to answer. Since Amy has gone missing, I couldn't get any sleep because my brain just wouldn't stop reminding me about her..." Sonic said, finishing with a small sigh. "So why are you up?"

Tails' left ear drooped down a bit as he dragged his right hand across his furry hair, "I just feel bad because I didn't do anything other than just get tossed aside uselessly and let Shadow kidnap Amy..."

"Did you see him?"

"No, but come on Sonic! Who else could use Chaos Control other than you and him?" Tails asked while raising a furry brow.

"So a Chaos Emerald was also involved in this..." Sonic stated as he pulled out a chair to sit on.

Tails nodded as he continued to speak, "Right, before I passed out, I saw a bright flash as Amy called you for help..."

"Damn that Eggman and Shadow..." Sonic snared with disgust at the current situation.

"Now do you still believe that Shadow has any good in him?" questioned the fox with a glare.

Sonic shrugged sadly, not knowing anymore what to believe about the black and red hedgehog. He knew that it had been far too long to actually still believe that Eggman had somehow forced Shadow to join forces with him. The thing that held him back from giving up on Shadow is that he believed that he sometimes saw the black hedgehog's eyes filled with regret, almost as if he knew he has been doing wrong.

Tails just sighed as he decided to change the subject to something that might help lighten up the mood, "Hey Sonic..."

Sonic just nodded once to signal the fox to continue on as he stared at the glossy kitchen floor with interest.

"I was planning to show you a new invention yesterday night that I had finished a few days ago, but with what happened yesterday, I guess it had slipped my mind..."

"Really?" The blue hedgehog lifted his head with wide eyes.

"Yeah..." Tails responded with a small smile, "Let's go to my lab so I could show you!" the fox finished as he stood off his chair and began walking towards his lab.

Sonic smiled brightly for the first time today as he followed his buddy to said lab.

'Now this is the Tails I've be missing..."

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

As Tails opened the door to his lab, he hurriedly ran to where his invention was kept at, with Sonic following closely behind. He was beginning to feel the exciting rush he felt when he was about to reveal a new invention of his. As he reached his destination, he saw his invention neatly covered with a small yellowish orange blanket, to prevent dust from collecting on it.

"Here it is!" Tails shouted with excitement, as he pulled the covers out of the way to reveal..

A normal blue Chaos Emerald?

The excitement that the blue hedgehog had had quickly faded at what he just saw. Tails in the other hand, still looked enthusiastic.

"Uhh Tails? If that's just a fake Chaos Emerald, then I'm not impressed..." Sonic stated with disappointment.

Tails just slapped his own forehead at Sonic quick judgment, "No Sonic, it's not just another fake Chaos Emerald! It's a created Chaos Emerald that can channel the users power to the seven Chaos Emeralds scattered all around the world!"

"Huh? Then that means that..." Sonic started with widen eyes.

"Yup you guessed right! You could use the seven emeralds power from anywhere!"

"You're kidding me!" Sonic hollered as his excitement resurfaced.

"Nope! I'm a genus remember!"

"Heh, from the way you have been acting lately, I found it hard to believe you still were.."

Tails laughed nervously with sweat evident on his brows, "Err, Lets go outside so you could try it out!"

"Sure thing old buddy!" Sonic responded with a wide smile and a thumbs up.

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

Tails was now a few feet away from Sonic as he watched the blue hedgehog prepared himself to use the blue created emerald that was clutched in his hand to transform into his super form.

"So... how do I activate this thing?" Sonic questioned while scratching his head with confusion.

Tails sighed, "Just do what you normally do when you want to transform!"

"Oh! Right!"

Sonic took a deep breath as he concentrated as he usually did when he wanted to use the emeralds power to transform into Super Sonic. After a few seconds passed, the blue emerald began to glow brightly. The blue hedgehog then followed the emerald's lead which caused Tails' eyes to widen with anticipation.

After a few more seconds of the emerald and hedgehog glowing, the shinning finally extinguished to reveal...

Sonic...in his normal state. The only thing that changed was that the blue emerald which was previously clutched in his right hand had vanished!

As Sonic opened his eyes, he looked at himself and sighed with dissatisfaction. He was as blue as he always was. "Hey... What's going on?"

"Sonic! The emerald is gone!"

"I know that!" Sonic growled out, disliking the fact that Tails had pointed out the obvious.

"Do you feel any different?"

"Nope."

"Maybe you just absorbed it and now it has become a part of you!" Tails guessed, trying to sound smart.

Sonic sighed with his appointment, "No, that can't be it because I don't feel any different at all! When I absorb a Chaos Emerald's power, I feel a huge surge of energy the whole time I am using the emerald's power. Right now, I feel like I do when I just wake up in the morning to go on with my day..."

"Damn, there's no way I miss calculated..." Tails muttered with confusion.

Sonic sighed as he began walking towards his mansion, "I don't know Tails, maybe you're not as smart as you used to be..."

"Shut up.." Tails snared at Sonic's insult as he followed the hedgehog inside.

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

Elsewhere, a female purple hedgehog was wondering around aimlessly in City Hall. Her hair, which was purple at the top and brownish blond on the bottom, hung loosely down from her head and passed her bright violet eyes and proceeded to land firmly on her collarbones. She wore a purple shirt that matched her feminine frame, with a pair of dark purple bell bottom jeans. Her sneakers were purple and white to match her clothing to her liking.

To be straightforward, she is completely lost at the moment. Since she lived in Station Square pretty much all her life, she is completely unfamiliar with this city.

The purple hedgehog was currently looking for the blue hedgehog who is known as the world's savior, Sonic the Hedgehog. Though probably everybody would find it hard to believe, she is related to Sonic. Heck she herself didn't believe that she could be related to someone as famous as Sonic because she only learned this a few weeks ago! It was truly bizarre. Her mother, who was currently living with her close by Station Square, told her the shocking news. The purple hedgehog didn't believe her mother's words because she never ever mention once, in her eighteen years of life, that she had a brother that she never got to meet in person. The purple hedgehog had become furious when her mother had spat out that the reason she never told her about Sonic was because she never liked his father and didn't want her own daughter anyway near that imbecile's son. All together, her mother was pretty much saying that Sonic was her half-blooded brother! The purple hedgehog never had a good relationship with her mother because they could never get along and always seemed to be fighting for the stupidest reasons. For instance, her mother always wanted her to go to an all girl high school because she felt that males are all idiots and that she should be around her kind only. Just because her mother had bad experiences with guys all through her life, didn't mean that she herself was going to have the same issues that her mother had. Sure she has had her fair share of personal experiences with stupid boyfriends, but she never ended up staying with them long enough to ruin her life, like her mother had let happen. So she was finally glad that she could get ready to leave her mother's house hold and get on with her life.

As she continued to aimlessly walk around, she finally decided to ask several people around the city if they knew where Sonic was currently living at. However, they always ignored her, continuing on to where ever their destination was.

"Hmm, maybe Sonic put his information private so no one would bother him..." The female hedgehog stated to no one in particular.

The hedgehog decided to give up at this point and just look through the yellow pages, which is what she had originally thought of doing. Back then, she had believed that someone as famous as Sonic the Hedgehog would be easy to locate. Boy was she wrong.

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

"Tails...?"

The orange-yellow fox nodded his head so that his blue friend knew he was listen. Our blue hero sighed with frustration at the current predicament he was in. After the failed attempt to transform into Super Sonic with the falsely made blue emerald, the fox had insisted that he wanted to check his friend's chaos energy level at his lab to make sure that there was no changes in his body. After all, he believed he had made a miscalculation so therefore he felt that it was his responsibility to make sure that Sonic is in perfect condition. Even though the blue blur did appreciate the concern his buddy had for him, he was NOT fragile when it came to exposure to chaos energy, even if so called chaos energy was artificially created. He had proven that at the Ark years back.

"Tails' I think that's enough!" Sonic snapped in annoyance as he proceeded to shove the young fox's weird looking scanning device, which said fox held firmly in his grasp.

"But Sonic-"

"It has been over half an hour since you started this and you have found nothing wrong with me!" the aggravated hedgehog spurred out, cutting off the fox.

Tails sighed with defeat. He knew his speedy friend hated being in one spot to long unless it was with a certain pink hedgehog. Sonic heaved a sigh of relief as he saw his friend finally give in and put the wrenched device on his working desk.

"Don't come running to me when you are having a heart attack or something..." Tails muttered as he proceed to clean up his messy work desk.

"Heh don't you worry buddy! I'm one tough hedgehog!" Sonic announced proudly with a fist to his chest.

Tails rolled his eyes which shortly was followed by a genuine smile.

Beep...Beep!

The hedgehog and fox's furry ears twitched at the sound coming from a small black radio off the nearby counter.

The two-tailed fox groaned with irritation. "How I hate trouble this early in the morning!"

However, our blue hero's reaction was the complete opposite of the fox. "Heh, I've been longing for something to release my stress on!" Sonic smirked with eagerness in his voice.

Ever since Amy had been kidnapped, all Sonic had wanted to do was rip something apart. Now he had the opportunity to do so. He quickly picked up the radio to respond to the call for help.

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

"The pain...ugh…is getting worse..." A white hedgehog groaned in agony at the intense throbbing pain streaming through his cranium.

Not much could be seen as the white hedgehog was currently hunched in a alley way that blocked most of all the morning sunlight. His heavy lidded golden eyes could be seen through the darkness along with his right black gloved hand, which clutched his ever aching head. His left trembling hand held a silver gem which gleamed brightly from the seeping sunlight.

"One of these gems should had been enough..." the pale hedgehog muttered as the pressure in his head increased slightly more, causing him to grunt and wince in pain.

"But it appears that one isn't enough anymore..."

A female screech of what seemed like frustration suddenly boomed through his ears, making him wince and groan again.

"Ugh…I think I'm going to pass out..." the white hedgehog heaved out as his vision slowly began to blur in and out.

He barely heard the sound of police sirens going off nearby before blacking out.

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

"Eeeek! Where in the world do they have those darn yellow pages! " A stressed purple hedgehog all but shrieked.

She had looked all over the place for a stupid yellow pages book but none of the stores in this local area carried any. She even stupidly went as far as to ask one of the stores' clerk to tell her where Sonic currently resided at. But of course, the clerk refused to spill any information. He just simply stated that that was confidential information and that he had no say in it. She felt like she would have just strangled the clerk then and there but thought better of it. What good would it do if she landed in the slammer anyways?

She was suddenly startled as she heard the sounds of metal clashing against concrete nearby. The female hedgehog hurriedly turned to the source of the noise and figured out that it must have came from the creepy looking alleyway that was just a mere feet or two from her current position. 'Oh please please please don't let it be some crazy loon stalker that had somehow followed me from Station Square!' the now frighten hedgehog thought dramatically.

She was about to make a break for it but stopped to a standstill as she heard a groan come from the very alleyway that she was tempting to get away from.

'Wait a minute…what if it's someone that's in trouble and needs help?' the purple hedgehog thought as her fear suddenly turned to concern.

As the female hedgehog decided to toughen up and make her way ever so slowly towards the creepy alleyway, she began to hear in the distance police sirens. 'They aren't coming here are they?' she questioned herself as if someone in her mind would answer her back.

As she got closer, she gasped as she noticed the white pale hedgehog's unconscious form on the concrete tiled floor. When she was finally in front of said hedgehog, she took in his features. He had bright white quills that where sprawled out flat since he was laying with his back against the concrete. She took notice that they were a little dull looking. She guessed that it had something to do with the fact that he is cover with bits of debris. He's facial expression showed that he was in a deep amount of pain as beads of sweat trailed down his bangs, which consisted of a mixture of white and dirty blond hair. He was shirtless but did possess a deep yellowish gold scarf that was wrapped neatly around his neck. He had black gloves that were perfectly fitted on his hands. She took in account that he had a shinning bright gem clutched in his left hand. His black pair of slightly loose jeans were a bit tattered up as if he had been wearing them for a few days or more. To finish it up, his shoes where just a plan pair of white sneakers that were almost completely covered with dirt. 'Maybe he has been running away from someone recently?'

She proceeded to crouch on the concrete to see if she could shake him awake but paused as she noticed that both his fluffy white triangular ears twitched as if it had a life of its own.

The purple hedgehog's eyes gleamed with awe at the ear's constant twitching.

"Oh. My. God! So freaking cuuuute!" She gushed quietly… if that was even possible for her. She began to reach out to touch them as if she was caught in a deep trance.

The next events happened so fast that she still had a hard time believing that they even occurred.

The police sirens come full force and out rushed the police officers with their guns loaded and ready to fire.

The white hedgehog's eyes snapped open, revealing his bright golden eyes to the stunned face of the female hedgehog.

As gun fire was let loose by the officers, white meets purple in a hazy blur that is followed by a glistering green light that blinds all bystanders and vanishes within seconds.

Finally after over a year I finish the third chapter! Yay for me! X] Sorry for those who liked this story that I took so long! As you all could see, many things have been changed and scrapped. Most noticeably is that there is indeed no "Twin Hedgehogs" anymore. One character was changed a lot and another character was replaced completely. Three of my created character's are gone for good and the plot for the story is changed completely to the point that I minus will not call this a remake anymore. More of an alternative version of it. The first two chapter will probably be the only reference that point out that it is a remake at all.

The next chapter should not take me no where near as long as this one took since I am starting to understand where I want this story to go and have a bit more time in my hands.

Chapter 4: Chaos Overload

A slight ruffle in the wind of the very outskirt of City Hall crackled loudly as blinding greenish energy emerged out the clearing. Out the radiance materialized a white and purple hedgehog, who clutched the furry white one with bewilderment. After several seconds, the white hedgehog heaved wearily as he released his hold on the female hedgehog, which caused her to stumble backwards. He then leaned back against the nearby wall for support.

"Wha - what just happened?" the female hedgehog slurred out as she shifted towards the exhausted male one.

Unfortunately, the white hedgehog did not seem to acknowledge the inquiry as he seemed lost in his own world. As the purple hedgy took a closer look, she saw that whatever agony he felt earlier had returned and from the looks of it, it was much worse than before. As she proceeded to come closer to him, his furry ears seemed to have heard her foot movements as they jerked wildly.

"D - don't come any closer…" The pained hedgehog uttered.

"What's wrong with you! How did we end up back outside of the city!" She asked with concerned which then changed to confusion followed by annoyance as she realized that she would have to troop it back into the darn city and continue her search for the blue blur from the beginning.

"Sorry for saving you from getting torn apart by bullets…" It seemed that the agony the male hedgehog was in didn't kill his sarcasm at all.

"Oh hehe…ummm thanks for saving me…" The purple hedgehog mumbled quietly as she blushed with embarrassment from her outburst.

The white hedgehog just grunted which appeared to be his way of acknowledging her gratitude.

"Now go before the police finds out where we are." With that said, he raised himself off the wall, which he had been slouched against, and proceeded to stagger to the streets nearby with the silver gem gripped tightly.

"Wait! Why are the police after you?" The purple hedgehog all but shouted as she trailed behind the white one.

"That - that's none of your concern…" The staggering hedgehog replied with strain evident in his tone as he continued his way from the city.

"Gosh how rude!" She huffed out with her hands on her hips firmly. "Could the knight in shining armor at least give me his name before he leaves?"

At first it appeared that he wasn't going to respond back, "Wes…and yours?"

"Angelica but I prefer Angel"

Wes turned around and smiled weakly. "Nice to meet you Angel"

Angelica blushed a nice shade of red. The way her name rolled off his tongue had made it sound more like he complimented her rather than simply say her name. Or at least she liked to believe so.

As she was about to respond, the sound of police sirens in the distance cut her off. The white hedgehog, now known as Wes, snared with disgust as he braced himself for what was going to take place next. The darn police had been following him for quite some time now. He had no choice but to take them all out didn't he? He needed this gem that he had stolen from the local bank in City Hall. The previous gem that resided in his pant pocket was completely juiced out and he needed another gem like the other to control his ever fluctuating energy that caused him the throbbing headache he was experiencing. He wasn't at all pleased that he stole from the bank but this gem - it called to him didn't it? It had the exact same energy that the other one had before it ran out. He wondered how many of these gems exist.

The police cars finally emerged in to view as they drifted sideways to a screeching halt in front of Wes and the now trembling purple hedgehog. 'This is sooo not my day' She thought.

"The both of you freeze and put your hands up in the air!" Hollered one of the armed officers through a megaphone.

Angelica instantly complied with frighten eyes, but Wes however, stood his ground and waited eagerly for their next movements.

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

At the moment, our speedy young hero was rushing to the crime scene. Everything he passed was nothing more than a mere blur in his eyes. The police officer who issued the help call hadn't said much since he himself seemed to be in a hurry. He just stated that a young white male hedgehog had stolen the silver chaos emerald out of one of the local banks. That sounded simple enough to the blue hedgehog. Stolen goods from a bank was a common occurrence in City Hall. He just wondered why… in the morning. Bank robberies usually occur at night, well at least in City Hall they do. Whatever the reason was, he was going to put a stop to it like he always did.

As Sonic approached the city, a thought crossed his mind. A thought that had continuously been nagging him since the second he woke up this morning.

How was Amy doing?

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

To be bluntly honest, he was in no shape or form to take on the police force head on. Running was no longer an option since they seemed to always be able to track him down in a matter of minutes. Maybe they have some kind of sensor that could detect where these gems are located. Wes took a quick glance at the purple hedgehog he had just been introduced to mere seconds ago. She looked terrified. It was unfortunate that she happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. If only she had listened to the instant he told her to leave, then maybe she would not have became involved in this dilemma. He quickly recapped the event before he was in the current one and silently cursed. If only he had saved his vanishing trick until now, then he could have high tailed it out of here. He wasn't just going to leave the female hedgehog to be gunned down by these reckless officers. 'Pfft! Look who's talking!' a voice in his mind scolded him.

One of the officer's moved towards the weary hedgehog at a snail's pace, as if he were a wild animal on the loose. Well, he kind of was wasn't he?

"Put the chaos emerald on the ground, slowly, and make your way over there!" He demand as he pointed to his fellow team mates with his handgun.

'So that's what those gems are called huh. Chaos emeralds," Wes thought with surprise as he then slowly nodded and began to do what he was told. As he placed the silver emerald on the concrete streets below, he took a rapid glance at the now approaching officer. As soon as he was within distance, Wes began his assault.

With elegancy, he sweep kicked the officer nearby, making him wail his hands in the air because of the lost of balance. When the assaulted officer crumpled to the ground, his team mates opened fire at the white hedgehog. To their astonishment, the white hedgehog avoided all the shots fired with swift movements. Unfortunate for the white hog, god certainly wasn't on his side because the ever throbbing headache suddenly hit him on full force. This caused him to awkwardly stumble backwards and proceed to land on his hands and knees. This was shortly followed by one of the officers incoming bullets to slickly burn a hole through his afloat yellow scarf around his neck.

"Damn it… the pain… it's beginning to become unbearable." Wes gasped out as he griped his head as the pain increased stronger and stronger. This left the officers to wonder what was wrong with the white hedgehog but still kept their guns aimed and loaded.

Angelica looked at Wes with concern but that soon turned to a look of awe. Wes was - beginning to shimmer a bright color of green. It was faint at first, but it was increasing…but also reducing at the same time? how was that possible?

"Get - get away from me! All of you!" The white hedgehog growled out as he stood up with his right hand tightly grasping his head. As the pain intensified even more, if that was even possible at this point, he backed away from the wide eyed purple hedgehog and the fallen officer, who hastily sat up and rushed towards his team. As a rather quick rise of pressure shot through his head, his left hand hurried dropped the silver gem on the concrete below and joined his right hand in an attempt to reduce the strain.

At this point, his entire figure was illuminated in a clear greenish energy that let small burst of power out every so often.

As the white hedgehog let out a loud painful scream, everything went blank in Angelica's violet eyes.

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

"Whoa! What was that?"

Sonic had just landed on a nearby building as he felt a sudden increase of chaos energy around the area. 'and it's sky rocketing even higher!' he thought with astonishment.

Now Sonic was no expert when it came to chaos energy readings, that was Tails' line of work. But he did use it more often than others and understood that the way the energy was currently rising - was not normal at all. Heck, it had him feeling strange. It was as if the chaos power was beckoning him to locate it. As Sonic stared at both his now trembling hands, he noticed that his palms were now crackling with chaos energy.

Sonic suddenly got a bad dreadful feeling that chilled down his very spine. He felt that if he didn't act at this instant, all hell was going to break loose.

So he did the first thing his conflicted mind thought of.

He hollered out Chaos Control and vanished out of sight. Probably what was the most out of place thing with this action was the fact that our blue hero did not carry a chaos emerald.

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

As the blue hedgehog emerged just mere feet from the dazed purple hedgehog, who had fell flat on her butt when Wes had burst with a blinding green light, he checked his surroundings.

As Sonic was going to check on the stunned purple hedgehog, his body suddenly spiked with pain, making him wince with half lidded eyes. As the pain reduced after a few seconds, he proceeded to gaze at the scene before him. Some feet away, a white hedgehog was consistently engulfed in chaos energy. Every time the other hedgehog burst with energy, our hero cringed in pain.

"Hey!"Sonic hollered out through the crackling wind and sound, to gain the white hedgehog's attention. "What do you think you're doing!"

This seemed to catch the white hedgehog's attention because he glanced towards the blue hedgehog. However, what Sonic saw before him, was certainly not what he expected his eyes to look like. His sclera, which was the only visible part of his eyes, was covered completely in a bizarre looking greenish-yellow color.

"Everyone must fall back…NOW!" exclaimed Wes as the very sound of his voice appeared to add more full to the fluctuating chaos energy.

As the police officer high tailed it behind their vehicles, fearing for their lives, Sonic nodded with acknowledgment. This hedgehog - he didn't seem like he could control what was about to occur next did he? Sonic wasn't going to just stand still and watch the events in front of him unfold so he glanced back at the purple hedgehog, who was huddled on the ground shivering from fear.

Before Sonic could take action, the white hedgehog finally couldn't take the building up pressure any longer and let the chaos power all loose with a massive ear shattering explosion.

Needless to say, Sonic had never felt such overflowing power in his life.

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

While intensively watching the news unfold the current events, Tails, who had a certain bunny clutched tightly at his side, suddenly hissed in pain as the chaos energy reader in his hand burst with a loud shattering sound and hit the living room rug with a soft thud.

"Whoa!" The teenage fox cried out.

"What just happened?" the slightly frighten rabbit asked with surprise as she stared at the now broking chaos reader.

"Whatever let loose that ridiculously large amount of chaos energy, overloaded my reader!"

"Do you - do you think it came from Sonic?" The rabbit asked as she shifted her gaze to the fox.

Tails instantly shook his head. "No, Sonic knows how to control himself when it comes to chaos energy…"

"But didn't you say that Sonic absorbed the - "

"Pfft! There is no way I miscalculated that bad!" The fox cut in.

Cream sighed with disapproval. As long as she has known the fox, she had come to realize that he refused to admit that he was wrong in anything… when it came to her at least. He did not seem to have any problem admitting when he was wrong to Sonic, heck with anyone else for the matter. While she understood that in this case he is usually not wrong, she could not help but think back at the times he argued with her over something that he was obvious wrong on. 'Stupid fox and his thick head…'

Tails turned around and began to stride towards his lab.

"Wait! Where are you going mister!" Cream cried out as she trailed behind the fox.

"To my lab to grab a few things and a surprise that I was going to save until later since it isn't completely finish yet. But it looks like we are going to need it now." Tails replied as he and his girlfriend entered his lab in the basement.

As Tails grabbed the orange backpack that hung on the nearby coat hanger, he started to pack in what he called the "essentials" which consisted a First Aid Kit and a more advanced version of the chaos reader, which also worked as a chaos emerald locator among other things.

"Grab one of those jackets nearby. I heard it is a bit chilly in the city… especially while we're in the air." Tails said as he slung the backpack onto his back and hurriedly walked to his left which lead to a wide area.

"Wait! Do you want me to grab a jacket for you?" Cream shouted as she slipped on a red and white jacket and began to unhook one for her boyfriend. But suddenly, she stopped in mid action. "Did you just said 'in the air?' Wha - "

"Ugh! You ask to many question! The heck with my jacket, I don't need one, and get your butt over here before I leave without you!" The fox yelled out as he pressed a switch, which was located between his lab and the wide area.

"Tails? Where are you?" Cream asked as she saw her fox disappear in the darkness that never seemed to end. "Tails - ahhhh!" the rabbit shrieked as a loud sound of a engine roared to life, followed by the lights in the opening.

Cream's eyes widened to the size of dinner plates as she saw that the wide opening was in fact a garage. In the garage, there stood her two tailed fox on a rather large complex looking plane. The plane was simply amazing! It resembled that of Tails' older plane model, the Tornado 2, while it was in its transformed airborne state when Sonic and Tails chased the Egg Carrier the last time around. But the difference was that for one, it was definitely bigger than the previously stated plane. It could most likely fit five or more individuals on the back. Also, right between the two sets of the scissor spread wings, resided a middle wing on each side. The plane was painted exactly like his first Tornado, orange and yellow with a hint of white. Lastly of course, the fox never forgot to put his trademark sign which consisted of two painted fox tails. It was stylishly located on the long tail of the plane.

"Cream." Tails began to capture his rabbit's attention. "You should be honored to be the very first to see the revealing of the Tornado TX 3!" He finished with a broad smile. He was originally going to unveil it to Sonic first as a surprise but he felt like he should use it now. The Tornado 2 was extremely out dated so he doubted that it would be wise to use such an old plane that probably would break down the minute he left the run way.

"Oh my god!" Cream gushed out as she walked in front of the huge plane. " It's beautiful!"

Tails snorted at the compliment that the rabbit gave his creation. " Baby it's not beautiful!"

Cream giggled in return as she raised her hands towards Tails so he could help her in the plane. "Then what is it?"

Tails settled the rabbit in the back of the plane before replying. "I prefer sexy baby sexy."

This caused the peach colored rabbit to erupt in giggles yet again.

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

White. All white.

That's the first thing Sonic saw as he opened his eyes and looked off in the distances with a disorientated expression. As soon as he came back to reality, he noticed a few things. First, the police officers were all sprawled on the ground unconscious. Second, their vehicles where all over the place. Some were impacted into buildings while others where just flipped upside down as gasoline began to leak out, covering the ground with a dark greenish looking substance. Thirdly and most important, the hedgehog who had caused such destruction was nowhere to be seen.

Sonic sighed with disappointment. Now he would not get the answers he was looking for. As an image of an nameless purple hedgehog took shape in his conflicted mind, he turned around to see if she was still in one piece.

Seemed that she was just fine seeing as how she is currently staring at him with a look of perplexity. "Are you alright?" He asked.

The purple hedgehog seeing that the other was staring back at her with a similar face, blinked before asking a question of her own after answering his. "Yeah I'm fine but…umm, sorry if you don't mind me asking but who are you?"

Sonic blinked back at her before finally understanding her question. Why did he feel so out of place? Now that he thought of it more clearly, why did he feel like he had so much energy that he felt that he could run for days without stop?

He shook those thoughts away as soon as they came and responded with a genuine smile in place and a thumbs up, "Sonic! Sonic the Hedgehog!"

Instead of the usual star struck recognition he receiving upon telling others who he was, he just received an even more baffled façade.

"But I always thought Sonic was a blue hedgehog, not yellowish-gold. Are you going through a phase or something?"

"Huh?" Sonic tilted his head in confusion. Yellowish-gold? That describes the color of his fur when he transforms into Super Sonic. But surely he wasn't transformed because he did not feel the rush of the chaos energy running through his vein, the feeling the he could do anything.

He looked down at his furry body to prove he was still his old blue self but froze upon seeing that the purple hedgehog was indeed telling the truth.

He was yellowish-gold.

Hey, I skimmed through the very very long chapters. @.@ I thought it was kinda neat, but why let people change your ideas? It was a YEAR AGO... Besides, you could have kept the original, then changed up the plot some and make it better instead of scrapping so many of your ideas. I know I wouldn't let someone do that to me... Anyway, why not rewrite your original in Notepad or Microsoft Word, then change it around in a separate document. But that's just a piece of my advice...

I'm glad you at least skimmed through the chapters and told me so People did not make me change my ideas. I just didn't like the way things were going with the story. I had too many fan characters and I tended to steal the stop light from Sonic and Co. So I switched things around to make it run more smoothly. Unfortunately, I feel like others believe that this is all boring. So I'm trying to figure out what would make it more exciting and worth a read. The way I see it is this. I scrapped some of my created characters so that I could focus more on the Sonic ones. But again, thanks for at least taking a look!

Chapter 1 and 2 were tweaked a bit. I should be finishing up chapter 5 soon.

Chapter 5: Commander Robotnik

"So you're saying you are Sonic the Hedgehog?"

"Yes! That's what I just said!" The once blue replied with annoyance evident in his voice.

After Sonic saw that his blue fur had become yellow, he sort of freaked out. Sure he knew that when he became Super Sonic, his fur changed to the yellowish-gold color it was now. He also knew that when he transformed, he felt an almost unlimited supply of energy coursing through his body. He currently felt none of that and that's what frighten him.

Angelica was having a difficult time believing the claim the yellow hedgehog made. As soon as she pointed out what she saw before her, the other hedgehog began grasping his furry quills with bewilderment written on his face. After watching the hedgehog examining his body for several seconds, she frowned.

"Are you sure you aren't just an obsessed fan because-"

Sonic growled causing her to stop right there. He then snapped his attention from his body to the purple hedgehog before him. "Look if you would have opened your eyes before that crazy white hedgehog burst with energy, you would have saw I was as blue as the ocean!"

Before the purple hedgehog could respond, a huge ten foot machine landed before Sonic with a thunderous stomp, making the concrete below crack under pressure.

"What the-"

"Hedgehog within sight Commander Robotnik! Preparing to eliminate target!" said a metallic voice within the black and red walking machine.

"Ro-Robotnik?" shouted Sonic with wide eyes as he dive rolled out the incoming giant foots way.

Sonic stood several feet from the robot in deep thought as he awaited for its next move. 'Doesn't he go by Eggm-' He paused in mid sentence as he noticed something that he never wanted to see again. Imprinted on the sides of the machine, were the words "G.U.N" along with Eggman's infamous face shadowing behind them.

'That's not good.' As soon as those thoughts processed through his mind, all hell broke loose.

Seven more giant machines landed beside the first machine, each making their own loud stomping sound upon contact with the now wobbling streets. The machines began firing rapid bullets towards the surprised yellow hedgehog with the Gatling gun equipped upon each of their arms.

Our blue turned yellow hero used his speed to his advantage as he jumped, flipped and lunged out of harm's way. As he landed a few feet away, he curled up into a ball and began to start one of his signature moves. His spinning soon increased into extreme speeds as he built pressure before letting himself go, aiming towards the nearest machine in front of him. A bone crushing sound was made as Sonic impacted the huge machine, making the purple hedgehog flinch.

"Ugh! Tha-that didn't go as planned …" Sonic groaned as he slump to the ground while gripping his head in pain. It appeared that his spin dash wasn't going to work on these particular robots.

"Watch out!"

As Sonic attempted to shake the throbbing pain off, he failed to hear Angelica's heed of warning. The hedgehog screamed in agony as one of the robots clutched his body with its huge hands and began to crush his small form in mid air. Wordless to say, Sonic had never felt such agony from a robot that Eggman built.

"If I don't get out of this things grip, I'm as good as gone…" Sonic thought as he groaned yet again. Seconds later, he felt a sickening snap go through his bones, making him shut his eyes and clutch his mouth as an attempt to stop himself from screaming.

"No…stay away!" a female voice shouted.

Sonic forced his pain written face towards the source of the feminine scream. Upon eye contact, he froze at what he saw, momentarily forgetting his own pain. The purple hedgehog was backing away from three of the seven available machines as they stomped their way towards her terrified form. The said hedgehog yelped as her fear got the best of her which caused her to tumble to the ground.

Sonic's emerald green colored eyes instantly became enraged. If there was one thing that Sonic disliked the most, it was not being able to save those in need of help. His emerald eyes flickered between red as his rage began to awaken a hidden power within and consume him.

As the three giant machines closed in on the helpless female hedgehog, Sonic exploded with large amounts of chaos energy, causing the hold of the clutching robot to shatter along with its entire body. Sonic quickly took action with the familiar power he now had within his possession and dashed in mid air to the other hedgehog's aid.

Within seconds, he sliced through the mid section of the three huge robots as if they were mere paper.

Angelica stared dumbfounded at the gleaming yellow hedgehog's back as he just hovered in mid air a few feet away. "Whoa…" She muttered with rounded eyes.

The remaining four machines hurriedly took after the super charged hedgehog, but didn't have a chance as Sonic throw his right palm forward, releasing a powerful Sonic Wind attack that literally broke the sound barrier. As the wind attack directly hit the incoming four robots, it sliced and diced them to pieces as they then touched the streets below with a loud cluttering sound.

"In-incredible!" The officers whom recently awakened from their unconscious state stared with amazement.

"That's Super Sonic for ya!" A random City Hall resident hollered out as more come out of "hiding".

"T-that's Super Sonic huh…" Angelica stuttered out with shock. "So he wasn't lying…"

Sonic's left furry ear twitched as he heard her silent comment. He turned to the now adjacent hedgehog and gave her a warm smile followed by a thumbs up. "Told ya didn't I…"

Sadly, it seems like the sudden power surge took its toll on Sonic's body because before Angelica could smile back, he collapsed on the ground with a thud and passed out as the gleaming aura around him vanished. However, Sonic still remained yellowish-gold but instead of having his super form wildly upward spread quills, he had his regular downward ones.

As the officers began to rush to the hero's aid, it was instantly put to a stop as half a dozen robots similar to the one's destroyed hovered in their path. The machine's had the same design as the earth walking ones except that they were the airborne type.

"Oh darn! Now what…" Angelica said to herself as she watched with hopelessness clearly visible in her eyes."This can't be happening…"

Angelica is not a fighter, so for her, this is a very frightening situation to be in. She came to this city to find her brother and get to know him, but now it seems like she has to watch him get crushed by those ridiculously giant flying robots simply because she was too scared to do anything.

Angelica shut her eyes after witnessing several laser shots fired at the unconscious hedgehog.

If only she had kept her eyes open for a second longer, she would have noticed a rather large bluish-green laser beam counter the enemies' attack.

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

Tails' nerves began to kick in overdrive as he saw the chaos readings go over the edge. He, along with Cream, were mere minutes away from City Hall. Though the fox's plane wasn't one-hundred percent complete, it was still beyond faster than the Tornado 2. In fact, In others eyes', they would say that the plane was finished. But of course, the fox was by all means not like others. He sought after perfection with his creations.

Suddenly, a large surge of chaos energy could be seen from the outskirt of the City as Tails' Tornado TX 3 closed in.

"Look Tails! It sky rocketed again!" The rabbit pointed out as she observed the monitor near her seat.

"I know." Tails replied while looking at the bright yellow energy erupting from the close by city. "But this time, I'm sure it came from Sonic!" He finished with a proud smile.

Cream rose an eyebrow at this. "How are you so sure?"

"Because I've known Sonic for so long that I would be dumb not to be able to identify his super form aura." The fox answered as a small chuckle followed. "That and I am a genius!"

Cream just rolled her eyes at the fox's big ego. 'Sometimes I think his head is too big…' She thought with annoyance.

As the city finally came into view, both the fox and rabbit saw the scene unfold before their eyes.

Super Sonic was indeed present and he was slicing through three huge robots like a hot knife through butter.

"Heh, looks like Sonic got it under control!" Tails cried out with excitement.

"I'll say!" Cream nodded in approval. "And either Sonic has the seven chaos emeralds or that weird emerald you told me about actually worked."

"I told you! I'm a-"

"-Genius blah blah!" the rabbit mimicked. " Give it a rest will you!"

Tails' was going to make a smart comment back but froze when he saw that shortly after Sonic destroyed the rest of the remaining robots, he fainted.

"Oh no! Why did he just give out like that?" The bunny gasped out. "And why is he still Super Sonic?"

"I don't know, but looks like more trouble is coming!" Tails' growled out as he saw six flying robots emerge and surround the unconscious hero and a purple hedgehog.

'Who's the female hedgehog?' Tails thought with curiously but quickly shook those thoughts away as he noticed that the robots began to charge a powerful attack.

"Hold on tight honey-bunny!"He hollered as he pushed on the accelerator which shot the plane forward at an even higher speed.

Cream couldn't help but sigh at the fox's sad attempt of a nick-name. ' Oh brother…'

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

As the laser beams connected, a loud explosion broke through the sound barrier which could most likely be heard throughout the entire city. Angelica opened her eyes fearing that the worse has happened but instead sighed with relief as she saw that the unconscious hedgehog was still in one piece. Shortly after, a rather large fancy plane hovered mere feet from the robots and Sonic. She looked on in awe as she saw the plane eject a blaster cannon on one side and a gatling gun on the other.

"Stand back!" a young voice shouted from within the air craft, "Sonic's in good hands now!"

Angelica did as she was told and braced herself as she watched the events unfold with interest. She watched as the hero's savior shot off with a strong thrust forward, firing the gatling gun with great force towards the six flying opposing robots. The bullets seemed to do little to no damage as the enemy robots proceeded to scatter and attempt to surround the transformer plane. This ended up in failure as the plane's pilot seemed to anticipate this and shot off to the side thus avoiding getting cornered. The pilot quickly maneuvered the plane behind an unsuspected airborne robot and shot his blaster cannon through its backside. The robot jerked and jittered around for a bit at the damage that it had received before correcting itself and turning towards its target. Suddenly, the yellow and red plane began charging its cannon for what looked like the bluish-green energy it had used earlier. The damaged robot rushed forward also powering up a crimson energy to try to counter or hit its foe. Unfortunately, the robot lucked out once again as the plane evaded the oncoming fire by jerking to the left and letting loose the laser blaster full force in the robots side, reducing it to useless scraps of metal and wirers which landed roughly on the ground.

A happy female squeal was heard within the plane which caused the shocked purple hedgehog to wonder how many pilots were in the strange aircraft. However, the happy squeal was short lived as the remaining five flying bots surround the lone plane.

X-X-X-x-x-x-x-X-X-X

"Tails! You really should have thought before doing this! We are greatly outnumbered!" The female rabbit shouted with fear evident in her voice.

"Not only that, but those previous laser attacks used up all of the plane's fire power." Tails stated as sweat became visible on his eyebrows while he looked between the energy usage panel of the plane to the surrounding bots. Since the plane was not finished yet, it didn't support large amounts of fire power. He still had plenty of flight fuel but he had to get out of this jam they were in first.

"So what do we do!" Cream shirked. She was beginning to panic.

"Calm down! We're going to escape somehow…" Tails answered. He was beginning to really regret bring Cream with him. Her panicking was beginning to make him nervous. It also didn't help that all robots were preparing for a final attack that would surely end Cream and his life along with his beloved plane.

"Thunder Arrow!" A gruff voice suddenly hollered as a white arrow of thunder struck one of the unaware robot's on the top.

"Black Wave!" A smooth feminine voice shouted shorted after the gruff one as a dark whirl of energy consumed another robot which was adjacent from the other.

"Alright! It's Knuckles and Rouge!" Tails and Cream both exclaimed as they saw the said red echidna land swiftly beside the plane as the female bat followed shortly after.

Knuckles gave the relieved fox and rabbit a thumbs up and the female bat just winked at them with a small smile. The reunion was short lived as the G.U.N. bots, excluding the recently damaged ones, charged towards the echidna and bat with blazing speed. Knuckle gave Rouge a small nod, which was returned as they ran off to the nearby disorientated robots they first attacked. A mere red blur could be seen as the red echidna rushed in to the G.U.N bot he previously damaged and ended its life with a powerful aura filled fist to its mid section, causing the bot to shake violent and tumble to the streets below with a loud smashing sound upon impact. At the same time, the jewelry loving bat finished off her robot with a stern roundhouse kick to its jerking head, penetrating it with her strong metal boot. As the bat finished the bot, the remaining three instantly flew towards their two new opponents with their weapons ready to fire. As they opened fire, the bat and echidna shot their signature moves which the bots avoided easily enough and carried on by shooting powerful red lasers beam.

The echidna and bat jumped out of the way on time as the beams struck the ground thus chipping and cracking it. Upon landing, the heroes targeted one of the nearby bot and shot off towards it with great speed. Rouge jumped on top of the airborne bot and shoved her heel into its head. To her amazement, it only curved in into a dent. One of the other bots took this moment to its advantage and fired a charged beam shot to the sidetracked bat. Seconds before the laser hit the white bat, the red echidna grabbed the wide eyed bat and hurriedly leaped off the robot. As the charged beam struck the other robot, thus exploding it to pieces, the echidna glided smoothly to the ground with the fist clutching bat in hand.

"My hero…" The clinging bat whispered to the echidna with a cheeky smile. She then gave the blushing guardian a peck on his cheek, making him blush even harder. Knuckles secretly thanked the gods that his fur was already red. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for his face.

As the echidna coughed and placed the bat onto her feet, he turned to the fox and rabbit who were watching them with wide stupid grins on their lips while in the standstill hovering plane.

"The heck are you doing Tails! Grab Sonic and the purple hedgehog and high tail it out of here!" The guardian all but growled out as he blushed again at his friends sly grins.

The fox's expression instantly turned from playful to serious as he nodded and hovered to the unconscious yellow hedgehog as the echidna returned to aid the white bat, who was giving it her all to the last two G.U.N bots. As he reached his friend, he took notice that the purple hedgehog was starring at Sonic with worry in her eyes. Tails told his rabbit to wait inside while he fetched Sonic which said rabbit reluctantly agreed to. He gave Cream a reassuring smile as he then popped the protective roof open and hopped off the airborne plane, using his twin tails to glide himself into a soft landing to the ground.

Tails hurriedly but gently picked up his unconscious best friend and tossed him over his shoulders which startled the worried purple hedgehog. This sudden movement alarmed the female hedgehog, but the fox's friendly smile put that to a stop.

"Don't worry, I'm a good friend of his." The fox stated as he extended his free hand with that same friendly smile. "I'm Tails!"

The purple hedgehog excepted the fox's hand as a genuine smile spread across her lips. "Nice to meet you! I'm Angelica but please call me Angel."

The fox's friendly expression turned serious as he replied. " Look I don't know what your story is but we need to get going before more bots are sent, " Tails turned to leave but not before saying that she was welcome to come if she liked. Angelica decided that she would and followed the fox closely behind to his hovering plane. As the fox was about to reach in his pant pocket for a remote that would command the TX 3 to land on the streets below, he's eyes widened as he noticed it began to already descend into landing.

"Huh?" Tails tilted his head as he saw Cream in the cockpit wave perkily at him with a bright smile.

"Y-you landed that?" The fox shuddered out with utter shock.

Cream huffed with annoyance at the fox's lack of belief in his voice. "What? You think I never learned a thing or two as I watched you work away in the lab?"

"N-No I just uhh-" Tails did not know how to respond to that so he instead decided to complement her on her landing. This seemed to work as he saw that the rabbit's nasty glare turned into a giddy smile. ' Whoa…I dodged that one'

"What are you all still doing here!" an enraged guardian hollered out, startling the others, even Rouge who was busy with the last remaining robot, but luckily it wasn't enough to effect her focus. "Get go-" the echidna cut himself off and cursed as he saw more robots from big to small arrive to the area that had become their battlefield.

This events caused the two tailed fox to take action. After a quick argument on who should drive the plane, the fox settled it by stating that next time he would let her drive. Maybe Cream did somehow learn how to drive his plane but in the current situation they were in, he was not going to take the chance for things to go wrong.

As the streets began to be filled with G.U.N and Eggman bots, Tails yelled to everyone to told on tight which everyone except Sonic complied to. Angelica made sure that Sonic was fastened safely as the fox pushed the accelerator button which sent the plane shooting off into the sky with sound breaking speed.

They weren't completely safe while airborne because some of the bots that were not occupied with the echidna and bat, took off after the getaway plane, set on destroying their main target.
