Three thousand years ago, Sylas was at peace. Sylas is one planet away from Mobius, the planet in which Sonic the Hedgehog lives in. Both worlds were three thousand years ago, so Sonic the Hedgehog is a story for another day. The Tigris race, the first to appear in Sylas, was divided into eight tribes. In five hundred years, the tribes united, by a Tiger named Jun-Hal Mako. Jun-Hal united the eight tribes into one, creating a vast empire. He vowed that only the Mako family could lead the Tigris Empire. The other animal races were now free to join the Tigris Empire, as well as creating their own tribes. The Tigris Empire worshipped a god that is said to control all of the elements known to beast.
Every fifty years, the God would choose a special angel to go in the body of a beast of any species. These people were called Descendents, protectors of the nature in Sylas. They control one element of the God’s choosing. These elements include Fire, Water, Wind, and Rock. Other elements include Lightning, Blood, Ice, Sand, and Metal, but they are a part of the four main elements. Legend says that Jun-Hal was a Descendent, and that he controlled Wind. The Tigris Empire’s capitol was Teo-Cuann, which is now a historic site. Their city was the first to reach a million citizens in only two hundred years. A hundred years later, the Tigris Empire had a new leader, Arisu Mako. She foresaw the coming of another empire rising in the soil of Sylas, and she was right. The Panthera Empire built their main city secretly in the Lionclaw Mountain, the largest mountain in the land.
The Panthera Empire resented the Tigris Empire, for they wanted control over its Empire’s people. The Tigris Empire only wanted peace and prosperity for its people. The two powers got into a war two thousand years ago. The war lasted almost one hundred and fifty years. Three Descendents fought in the Great War. One Descendent, Haru Mako, finished the war. He was the heir to the throne, so he got crowned Emperor immediately after the war. Haru wasn’t exactly pure. He had a corrupt mind, and so the Empire became corrupt as well. The Tigris Empire wasn’t evil, but its leader had his wrong intentions. Haru was loyal to his nation, but he wanted more power and money to himself. Eventually, when Haru would name himself Total Ruler of Sylas, he was kicked off the throne for crimes, around the time the first non-tiger and female Descendent was born. Her name was Kameko. She was a fox, and she played a great role in serving her nation. She was the Captain of the Guards, a position in which is usually for males. Daisuke Mako had fixed his older brother’s choices when he was in power. The Tigris Empire was peaceful for about another five hundred and fifty years.
