I haven't had the luxury of reading as many comics as I'd like to have. I have read some manga, but so far, I've only finished Rurouni Kenshin and I'm keeping up with Bleach. If I were to start anywhere, I'd like to begin reading something based on Spider-Man, Batman, the X-Men, or the Justice League.

I highly Recommend Ultimate Spider-Man.. from Bendis and Bagely. It's over 100 issues and it's all made of awesome. Art is super consistent and the writing is frikin' phenomenal. Better than the actual main Spider-man books in my opinion.

Currently I'm reading the third series of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, this is the only manga series I've dedicated my time to reading.

I recently (read three months ago) finally finished the manga for the series Beck. It's a great series, following a band as it struggles to make a name for itself. If anyone wants it, I have all 34 volumes separated out into .zip files. PM me and I can try to get it to you.

Apart from that, I've been reading a lot of the comic Invincible. It's pretty amazing. The writing is great and I love Ryan Ottley's style of art.

I've been reading what I can get my hands on of the Marvel Noir series, since I like that kind of stuff. It's decent. I've read 1 and 2 of Wolverine Noir, which is pretty good. I've read the first two issues of X-Men Noir, which is okay. I still haven't started Spider-Man Noir though.

Apart from that, there are a series of manga that I keep up with. I'm currently reading Bleach, One Piece, Fairy Tail (good series, start reading it before it gets to be too much to keep up with), and (sadly) I'm still reading Naruto, simply because I'm bored.

I've been reading a lot of spawn lately, really good stuff.

Mangas I read are One Piece, Aiki, Black Lagoon and Holyland. I'm ashamed but I read Air Gear too, good lord can writing get any more horrendous?

I'm gonna have to check out Ultimate Spiderman. I hear it was pretty good. I'm also going to look into the Marvel Noir series and Invincible.

Once they put Obama into Air Gear I gave up. It's terrible.

Transmetropolitan and Y: The Last Man are my personal favourites, with my wanting to read Hellblazer coming up real fast. For manga, I like Ranma 1/2, Hellsing, and Keroro Gunsou (Hey, I like the light-hearted stuff sometimes)

My favorites were originally Wolverine, Batman, Captain America, Sonic, and a few others I can't think off the top of my head right now for some reason. Batman has gone off of the list, because in their official arc, which I fucking hate, Batman and the Joker are dead. So fuck you, DC, I hope you rot, you disgusting licentious swine!

Batman and Joker are dead in the official universe... Nope. Doesn't register with me. Wait, this didn't take place in the time where Terry McGinnis became the new Batman, right?

Nope, DC recently had a story arc entitled "Batman RIP" in which Bruce Wayne died. Then they had "Battle for the Cowl" to see who the new Batman would be. I haven't been paying that much attention because Batman just isn't Batman without Bruce Wayne.

The New Batman is Dick Grayson AKA Nightwing. Kind of a mess of a story..In one version Bats is dead...but in another version He's in hiding carving a bat insignia in a cave wall. And Superman/Batman book it's still Wayne, but it's not cannon...SO the Batman that was killed in Final Crisis may not be the Earth 1 batman... I dunno, But for Now Bats is Dick Grayson.

There's a possibility that Wayne may come back as a Black Lantern.

Robin is now Wayne and Talia's son Damien. And Tim Drake is now The Red Robin. It's pretty cool that Drake is Red Robin now. It's like Kingdom Come. Speaking of that, Roy Harper AKA Arsenal, AKA Speedy, AKA Green arrow's former sidekick , has been Red Arrow for a bit now.

I just don't know why DC killed off Bruce. I mean, sure the franchise could use a reboot, but damn.

Because people like to be "edgy". It's the same fucking reason they tried to take down Captain America, or why they did House of M. They want to completely remodel the series how they see it, and kill off people in the process. It's the problem with writers, every once in a while they like to take a shit all over everything. Batman won't be dead long. He'll be RetCon'd into existance, I assure you.
